7 Billion People

7 billion people in the world, and I always had a hard time figuring out which guy was for me.

I've gone all my life

Wondering who it would be

For some reason, you were one

That never crossed my mind

Even though you've been standing

Right in front of me my entire life.

I was always told it was you, but I ignored them and turned my head.

Just recently, I opened my heart

And saw it was true what they said.

I didn't see it until after I left you.

Now it's killing me more each day

Because I listened to a stupid rumor

And let you get away.

But now I wait everyday

Until you see it's true.

That out of 7 billion people in the world, I'm the one for you.
