My Heart's Desire

It seems no matter where I go,

No matter what I do,

No matter how hard I try to move on,

I keep coming back to you.

There's been many times

I have started to question myself.

I thought I was crazy.

I started to believe everyone else,

But then I realize

I can't fight the way I feel

Because there's something between us

That feels right. Its so real.

I know you don't now,

But one day you'll feel the same.

You'll see that I'm not the same girl.

You'll see I've changed.

So until that day comes,

I'll have to trust in God and believe.

Because I know if you're my hearts

desire, He will give you to me.
