Lies

I know you want me.

I can see it in your eyes,

But you keep holding back

Because you're telling you're heart lies.

You're scared. You won't take me back. You've wrapped your heart in bandages

To let your it be fixed

From all of the damages.

I guess you did it

So you could give yourself time to heal

You'll come back

When you allow your heart to feel.

I know I hurt you,

And you're a little scared.

But I promise every time you look

By your side, I'll always be there.

So don't be afraid

That I won't stick by your side

Because you won't be scared as soon as you stop telling your heart lies.
