Words I Want To Say

I've already said too much,

But I would like to say so much more.

The words replay constantly in my head. They're something I just can't ignore.

I want to say. . .

That "Every time I see you,

Each time I come

A little more unglued."

"You're my first thought in the morning. The last at night."

"Just hearing your voice makes

Me feel like everything will be alright."

I would want to tell you I made a mistake. I would apologize

That I had to break your heart

And open up mine before I realized.

I would beg you to forgive me

Beg you to let us have a new start

So I could have the chance to prove

I love you with all my heart.

Even though you're not ready now,

I'll keep waiting for that day.

Until then . . .
