The burst of thunder,
The rushing of the wind,
It blows me down
Again and again
I get back up, get knocked back down,
Take another hit once more,
And then I realize it's harder to get up
As the rain starts to pour.
Hail starts to fall
I decide I'm not going to stay down
Because I know if I'm going to find my way back to you, I have to get myself off the ground.
As the lightening starts to strike,
And the earth starts to quake;
I realize I'm not giving up no matter
How much I tremble and shake.
After the storm is over,
I will not come out the same
As I was before
I went into the eye of the hurricane.
