The Rest Of Mine

Everyone thinks I'm insane.

They all think I should move on.

I'm not going to because I'm gonna

Prove to them that they're wrong.

I've tried to tell them.

I've tried to explain,

But this is something I can't describe.

It's not something simple or plain.

They can hurt me with their words.

I'll take them the best way I know how to take

Because all that matters is, I know

This isn't just some ole' heartbreak.

No matter what they think

And no matter what they do,

I don't ever care to tell them

How much I love you.

You may not realize it now,

But you will some point in your life.

Because no matter what anyone says,

I'm gonna love you the rest of mine
