Pain

Pain, pain

Go away.

Come again

Another day.

When I think about you,

It feels like there's a hole in my chest.

I can't eat, breathe,

Or even rest.

Your memories burn like a flame

In the back of my mind

Because I know it's my fault

Why you're not by my side.

But if you never left,

I wouldn't know what I do now

That you're the one

I can't live without.

Even though it hurts to think

About everything we've been through,

I like to do it because it reminds me

Of my feelings for you.

It's days like these

When it hurts the most

Since you're so far away

Yet so close.

I've taken all I can take for now

So pain, pain go away.

Come again

Another day.
