Pretending

Sometimes people have to fall apart to realize how much they need to fall back together.

It's like in order to get to the sunshine, you have to go through stormy weather.

I had you once, but I thought

We were just fooling around.

That's why I started talking

To the next guy I found

When I was talking to him, I finally decided to grow up and find something real

So I stopped locking up my heart

And allowed myself to feel.

In that moment, I realized something I've never been sure about.

I saw you're the one for me.

I know that without a doubt.

I hate I had to lose you,

But I never would have seen

That after all this time,

You're the one for me.

I know you'll

Feel the same way.

You will as soon as you do like me (grow up and stop putting your feelings away).

Even though I'm hurting now,

Pain only makes me stronger.

I know I will have you sometime. I'll just have to hold on a little bit longer.

I won't be okay until I hear
