Klaus's P.O.V
I let mother and Finn slip away, I should have killed them when I had the chance, but I didn't even want to.
"They're long gone, they won't be a problem for a while." Elijah says to me.
As I turn to face Elijah he looks around the woods, like him I also stare at the surrounding environment, after one thousand years I can still picture it all as it was back then. For now though I should focus on the present and what is in store for me: Caroline.
"Rebekah's gone." I state.
"At least she's happy and on her own path, just we both will be soon." Elijah points out.
I am glad for her and for Elijah, he can at least know how to live by knowing true love.
"Where will you and Elena go?"
"Wherever she wants, somewhere that she and I shall be happy together, where she and the baby will be safe and protected."
"We've all agreed to return upon the time of the birth, until then brother." I hold out my hand to Elijah.
Elijah hugs me close to him, the first time we've acted like the brothers we truly are, that we were born to be.

Elijah's P.O.V
"Brother." I call to Klaus as he's walking away.
Klaus stops in the spot and turns back to face me.
"Elena and Caroline are coming here together, we could go to them together." I suggest.
Klaus nods happily and allows me to catch up to him.
"So, what're you're plans with Caroline?"
"It's quite simple actually, I promised that I would show her what the world has to offer. I'll take her everywhere, anywhere she wants."
"Sounds like you're finally going to get everything that you want, I'm glad."
Klaus smiles, he's a new person now; he no longer clings to the darkness that was once himself, he has finally been enlightened by what was taken from him: love.
