Chapter 4 - Succubus Shop

I wake up to the sun shining through the window hitting me directly in the eyes.

"Bah."

I look around and realise I'm in Megumin's room.

Ah. Thats right.

I see that now Megumin has gone from hugging my arm to resting her head on my chest overnight.

...How is she so fucking cute

I nudge her a bit and whisper in a soft voice.

"Megumin. Megumin. It's time to get up"

She slowly opens her eyes and looks up at me.

"Good morning."

She suddenly jumps back in shock

Megumin: "(Y-Y-Y/N)?! What are you doing in my bed?! How did I even end up here?!"

I sat up and stretched and rubbed my eyes.

"Well we were chatting at the guild hall and you fell asleep leaning on my shoulder. Kazuma told me that they were leaving so I carried you home and put you in bed"

Megumin: "So why were you in bed with me?!"

"When I put you down you looked troubled and looked as if you were reaching for something. When I put my arm in proximity of you, you grabbed it and pulled it close. I assumed you were looking for my warmth and ended up sleeping with you."

I saw her face become red like a tomato so I decided to tease her.

"Fufu~ Do you think we did something last night?"

She then looked mad while still embarrassed.

Megumin: "D-D-D-Do you want to die?!"

She jumped off the bed and pointed at me. I laughed and stood up and ruffled her hair.

"C'mon, lets get something to eat."

I looked at my watch, it was 8am. She crossed her arms and looked away from me.

Megumin: "Hmph! Fine!"

I poked her cheek.

"Tsundere."

She got mad again and started spouting what I assumed was a magic spell.

"Woah woah woah! Calm down Megumin!"

She crossed her arms again and followed me out of the room and downstairs. I saw that Kazuma, Aqua and Darkness were sitting near the fireplace sitting on a couch. Darkness was reading. Aqua was in her pyjamas lazing on the couch and Kazuma looked as if he was trying to recover from a hangover.

"You guys had quite the time last night."

They all looked at me.

Kazuma: "Ugh. Don't remind me..."

I chuckled.

"I'm hungry. Do you guys have any breakfast type things?"

I go to grab open a cupboard.

Megumin: "You probably don't want to open that."

It was too late. I opened the cupboard. I felt time slow down as countless cabbage fall from the cupboard fully covering me. I arise from the pile.

"Why do you guys have so much cabbage?!"

Darkness: "A while ago it was cabbage farming season where countless flying cabbage were harvested. That's why we have so much."
