Chapter 53 - Downfall

The shield on my wrist began to change form, it going from an average looking shield, to the shape of flames with the crystal ball now changing to red. I could faintly hear Astrape's voice but it wasn't loud enough to understand what she was saying.

A firey aura surrounds me and thats when I lose all my senses.

Kazuma P.O.V
I wake up in the void room again. Now been my second time here.

"Wh-What happened?"

Eris appears and sits in her chair.

Eris: "(BF/N) swiftly decapitated you. You believed your comments were getting through to him, but he was unaffected by it. And when you got close enough, you were killed."

I sigh and rub my temples.

"Well what happened after I died?"

Eris: "Well, (Y/N) lost his cool and the rage that was held within him finally broke out and is in combat with (BF/N) right now while the others are moving you away to revive you."

"...It wasn't supposed to go this way..."

Eris: "It's crucial that you calm (Y/N) down because his attacks are predictable to (BF/N) since he can't think right now. At this rate, he'll be killed."

"Alright, I'll try to think of a way."

Eris nodded and Aqua's voice was heard.

Aqua: "Kazuma! Kazuma, I'm reviving you now!"

"Okaaaay!"

I was revived shortly after. I rub my neck as it stings a bit.

Elektra: "You okay?"

"Yeah, I think so."

We move closer to the plaza, hidden from them but could still see them. The two of them were duking it out in the plaza. An orange and blue hue surrounded (Y/N). The shield on his arm has changed and would occasionally launch fire towards (BF/N).

I watched his movements and even I could tell they were predictable.

YunYun: "What do we do...?"

"We need to find a way to calm (Y/N) down. His attacks are predictable and at this rate, he'll die."

Aqua: "But how do we calm him down?"

I look towards Megumin.

Megumin: "What?"

"I may have an idea."

We had split off in groups of 3. Megumin, Aqua and I while Darkness, YunYun and Elektra went another way.

Megumin: "Are you sure about this plan?"

"Of course. If anyone here can calm him down, it's you."

Megumin: "O-Okay..."

(Y/N) was beginning to bleed while (BF/N) only had cuts.

"Alright, let's start. You better heal me if anything goes wrong Aqua!"

Aqua: "You can count on me!"

"Come on out when I tell you to Megumin."

She hesitantly nods. I rush out into the open.

"Hey (BF/N)!"

Both of their attention was turned to me. (Y/N)'s eyes were also scarily red.

"Fuck you!"

(BF/N): "What did you say?!"

(BF/N) rushed at me.
