Chapter 6 - Snow Spirits

I slowly sat up after waking up, stretched and jumped out of bed. I looked out the window and saw it was...snowing?! I ran out of my room and ran to the stairs. I tripped and rolled down the stairs landing face first into the ground gliding across it at the bottom of the stairs.

Kazuma: "Holy shit, (Y/N)! Are you okay?!"

I could hear him laughing as he said that.

"A-Ah. Yeah. My eye hurts a bit though..."

I stood back up and looked at them and they all recoiled back.

"...What?"

Aqua: "Yeah. No wonder your eye hurts. You're bleeding!"

I touch the area around my eye and there is indeed blood.

"Oh. That's a shame. Do you guys have any napkins anywhere?"

I walk to the kitchen and find some tissues.

"That'll work."

Aqua: "No wait!"

I turn around and look at her.

"Yeah?"

Aqua: "I have healing abilities. Let me heal your eye."

"Aight."

I walk over to her towering over her a bit in difference of our height. She holds her hand just a bit away from my face and starts chanting a spell. I feel my eye hurt less and less and eventually she puts her hand down.

Aqua: "There. How's that?"

"Well it does feel better. Blood's still there so let me wipe it off."

I grab a tissue and wipe off the blood and Aqua gasped a bit.

"What's wrong now...?"

Aqua: "I-It appears my ability didn't work properly. It may have gotten rid of the pain but you have a scar over your eye..."

I look at the mirror that was in the kitchen (for some reason) and there was a pretty big noticeable scar going across my eye vertically.

"...Cool!"

Aqua: "Huh? You're not mad?"

She seemed a bit surprised to my reaction.

"Nope! The scar looks cool."

Aqua: "Well that's good. Now, let's head back into the living room."

I nod and follow her out to the others.

Kazuma: "How's your eye?"

"Good, but now I have a giant scar going across which is cool!"

Kazuma shook his head and chuckled a bit.

Kazuma: "You're an idiot."

I giggle.

"I'm aware. I was a complete idiot back in my world. I was just quirky like that. So was my friend. We were two best friends who were complete and utter fools!"

Kazuma: "We gotta have a conversation some time about our world."

I nod in agreement.

"I agree!"

Megumin walks up to me and had to go onto her tippy-toes to touch the scar on my eye.

Megumin: "D-Does it hurt when I touch it?"

Oh my god. If I don't get killed by some weird monster, she's gonna be the one to kill me. WHY IS SHE SO FUCKING CUTE HOLY SHIT!

"Nope. Aqua healed it all!"
