Another day has passed without Darkness returning home. Kazuma and Megumin recently returned back to the mansion with some food.

Kazuma: "Hey, useless Goddess. Could you quit hogging the couch and let someone else sit there for once?"

Aqua was sprawled across one of the big couches leaving no room for anyone else.

Aqua: "No way! If you want it, give me something in exchange."

Aqua sat up raising her hands in the air.

Aqua: "O thou who wouldst take what belongs to a deity, make an offering of expensive wine! Only then shall my light shine upon this wayward neet!"

Kazuma: "Dumbass!"

Megumin pouted and leaned on my arm.

Megumin: "Darkness didn't come home last night either..."

Kazuma sighed.

Kazuma: "Yeah..."

"Maybe we should go to that lord's manor ourselves..."

Suddenly the door burst open revealing a blonde haired woman, with her hair let out and wore a fancy dress.

Woman: "E-Emergency! Kazuma, we have a situation!"

All six of us looked at the woman confused.

"...Who are you?"

Woman: "....! Mm...Ngh!"

She then latched onto me pulling my shirt.

Woman: "This is no time to be joking around, (Y/N)! Save that kind of play for later!"

"Wha...? WAIT, DARKNESS?! IS THAT YOU?!"

Darkness: "Yes! How could you not recognise me?!"

We all sat on the couches looking at Darkness.

(BF/N): "We were worried...I'm glad you're back. What have you been doing?"

Darkness: "Well..."

Aqua pulled at Darkness dress a bit.

Aqua: "...This is definitely quality stuff. At least that Lord made it worth your while."

Darkness: "Huh?!"

I put my hands on Darkness's shoulders tearing up a bit.

"Darkness...I'm sorry...Sorry you had to suffer all this for me..."

Darkness: "Idiot! You've got it all wrong! That Lord didn't do anything weird to me after you threatened him! And this dress is mine!!"

YunYun: "Really? We were sure you were in something dire. What's with the fancy dress, then?"

Darkness: "N-Nevermind that. For now, look at this."

She plopped a very thin book on the table. I picked it up and opened it. Everyone was looking over my shoulder. Inside the book revealed a photo of a handsome young man.

"Who's the pretty boy? He pisses me off!"

I go to rip the book but was stopped by Darkness.

Darkness: "Stop it! Don't destroy my marriage interview picture!"

Kazuma: "Huh?! Marriage interview?!"

Darkness: "Y-Yes! That awful Alderp knew he couldn't demand anything really outrageous so he came up with a devious plan...!"
