The others all salute back to me, much to my surprise.
Kazuma: "You too. Don't die out there."
"No promises!"
I wave them off as we head separate ways out of town. Why might we be going on separate quests? I'm glad you asked! If you did that was...
~<Flashback>~
Our party was sitting at our usual table, discussing plans for Elektra's initiation. It'll probably just be toads again. As we were chatting, Luna approached us.
Luna: "Good morning, I have a quest request."
Kazuma: "Oh? What is it?"
Luna: "This is a quest that was requested for (Y/N) only."
"Hm? Let's see it."
Luna passes me the paper as everyone looks at it.
Elimination Quest - Defeat the Raging Stormbird that has been tormenting villagers for the past couple days.
Reward - 15Million Eris
Difficulty - DANGEROUS
"Was this requested of me cause I use lightning?"
Luna: "I would believe so. I'm hoping that you'll accept it."
Lightning VS Lightning? Would my lightning attacks even be strong? Well, there's only one way to find out!
"Sure. I'll do it."
Luna sighed in relief.
Luna: "Thank goodness. I knew we could count on you, (Y/N). Good luck!"
Luna took her leave as I stood up.
Darkness: "Going already?"
"Yeah, may as well. Never know how long the quest could take."
Kazuma: "Alright, well let's just pick a giant toad quest for Elektra. We did the same for (Y/N) and YunYun so no harm in continuing that trend. We also did it for um, for (BF/N) too.."
My stomach drops, I see Kazuma look to the ground. I feel like my hearts going to explode.
Kazuma: "Hey."
I look up to him
Kazuma: "(BF/N) is in a better place man. He'd—he'd be so proud of you."
He pulls me into a hug.
~<Flashback End>~
And there you have it, I'm off to fight this bird while the others fight toads. Apparently the bird normally hangs around a villager town not far from here. Town's called 'Graviton'. It should take me about three to four hours to get there.
~<Timeskip>~
And with the power of timeskips, I have arrived. The town doesn't have any fences or gates so I could just waltz in without any problems. Upon first look, one would assume this is a poor town, but everyone here is doing pretty well. As I walk through the streets, I get looks as children, men and women pass me.
