Hello and Welcome to the Poets Pub's 2019 Poet of the Year contest. This is our annual contest, reserved for those who have qualified to participate. We encourage all to join in, in celebrating these worthy competitors.

Second, we want to invite all of our Pub Members to join in on this contest by reading, voting and leaving comments; that is your way of letting us know which poems you like best.
Third, we suggest that all those eligible for the Poet of the Year contest, contact their followers and have them check out the contest as well.
Our judges do take into consideration the number of votes a poem gets, the number of comments received and answered.
