This week we have something that is a bit trickier for you; a challenge that will, as Bill would say, "really make you flex your poetic muscles".  This week you will be combining 3 distinct poetry forms in one poem. Please read the instructions carefully.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

~~~~~~~ Week Two Prompt ~~~~~~
1. Choose three (3) poetry forms from the list below.
2. Combine the three (3) poetry forms in one poem. (You can mix and match the various elements of the forms or use them as they are, i.e the syllable count of a Haiku, with and acrostic in a personification poem.) If you are unfamiliar with some of the poetry forms, there are plenty of websites that give great explanations and examples of these forms of poetry. Also, most of these forms have been featured in our book With Style: Poetry; where you will find explanations and examples, as well.
3. This poem can be any length as long as you follow the rules for the forms you choose.
4. Include the names of the 3 forms you have chosen to use when you submit your entry. If you are allowed more than one entry, please let us know if you are sending more than one entry at a time.
*How to write a tri-dodeca - tri ... 3 and dodeca ... 12
The tri-dodeca is a simple but challenging poetry form that consists of three stanzas of four lines each.
The unique thing about the tri-dodeca is that each line is exactly three syllables long.
There is no rhyming scheme and the style can be adapted to any format, as long as it follows the
three stanzas
four lines
three syllable per line
format.
