I Gave it My Best
I've Given All Verily Ending In The Month, Year By Expressing Subtle Truths.
It grew and visions evolved in their majesty, yet became empty, still torn.
In glossolalia and verse emitted interesting themes, mouthing yarns by encouraging soul talking.
Intimated gospel avarice vested extraordinarily in time; many young beasts evolved sharp teeth.
I growled and vented every issue to make you bear every secret told
I've gazed at vestments every item touched my yoke before each stanza thrust.
In grave acrimony vied eternally, in time my yadda bore eclectic strange terms.
Instant gratification and validation exposed in the message, your baptism echoes standing testament.
Inadvertent grace avails veiled evidence introducing temptation, may your best efforts stand trial.
In Genesis, Adam's viper encouraged impropriety testing man, young beauty Eve, serpent's trickster.
Influencing gardens arrivals, very elfish inciting temptation many young battle ex-communications, sorely tested.
Immortal God always views each indiscretion to measure your best example, searching tribunal.
Initially got a very excited, inspired to maintain youthful burgeoning expectations, successfully tasting.
A/N - Footnote: I've never seen or written anything quite like this before and think it's a unique form of acrostic prose. I'm taking the liberty of christening this form a 'Lateral Acrostic Prose'.
The title contains thirteen words the acrostic runs laterally through each stanza, each stanza, contains thirteen words and there are thirteen stanzas.
The prose expresses a story of how 'I Gave it My Best', that is for the POY 2019, having sought and achieved my aim of maintaining its Godly theme, albeit the latter deviates from my norm being more cryptic.
