Consanguinity
Tears trickled on the cold surface,
As they surrounded the table.
Deepest regrets they did confess,
Sifting between fact and fable.
Their kinship a ground unstable,
So long as they dismissed reality,
The vice that broke Cain and Abel,
Shall not break their affinity.
