Much of our poetry is written with adult themes, this week we want to give you a challenge with a more youthful bent.
This week you will be writing a children's poem, in the style of Mother Goose.
~~~~~~~~~~ Week Three Prompt ~~~~~~~~~~1. Write a children's poem in the style of a Mother Goose nursery rhyme.
2. The poem MUST be themed for children.
3. The poem MUST have a rhyme scheme.
4. You can use any poetry form, as long as it has a rhyme scheme.
5. The poem can be no longer than 30 lines long.
All poems for this week, must be received by December 8th at NOON MST (Mountain Standard Time).
ONLY POETS WHO HAVE QUALIFIED FOR THE POET OF THE YEAR MAY PARTICIPATE.
