Adelaide laid in her bed later that night. Don't you know? I thought Draco made it pretty obvious. Adelaide couldn't understand what Blaise was saying. Before Blaise could say anything Draco told him that he needed to speak with him privately, leaving the three girls confused.
They all carried on with the rest of their day and soon it was time for bed. Adelaide sighed and turned to the side in her bed, where she currently was. Adelaide soon fell asleep, putting everything that happened that day to the side.
Adelaide woke up late the next morning, with her head throbbing. "Ugh," Adelaide groaned as she got up for bed. She looked around and found the room empty. " My head is killing me and I'm late for class, how wonderful." Adelaide got ready and walked down to the common room. "I feel like skipping class today," Adelade mumbled to herself.
Adelaide slowly opened the door to her class, which was potions with Professor Snape. Fortunately, Professor Snape didn't notice her, or anyone else. She came in and walked to the Draco. "Where were you?" he asked concerned. "I woke up late," Adelaide replied back and he nodded.
"What are we doing?" she asked Draco as she watches him get some ingredients. "The Wiggenweld Potion," he responded as we added some of the ingredients in the cauldron. "Didn't we do this in our first year?" Adelaide asked confused.
"Of course Miss Rosewood. Who could forget when you managed to mess up your Wiggenweld Potion and cause chaos?" Snape said causing Adelaide and Draco to jump. Adelaide turned around at Professor Snape looking down at her. "Now, may I ask why you were late Miss Rosewood?"
"I woke up late, I'm sorry Professor, I won't do it again," Adelaide looked down. "I would take off points, but I would be taking points from my own house," Snape said in his monotone voice. "It better not happen again, understood?" Adelaide nodded and Snape left to go bother another student.
Adelaide sighed and turned back around. "I hate potions," she groaned. She looked at Draco and realized he was doing everything with one hand, since his arm still wasn't healed. "Oh! Let me help you," she said. "Rosewood, I think I can do this better with one hand then you, using both," Draco said causing Adelaide to frown. "Potion is your worst class, and I don't want you to mess the potion up again," Draco added.
Adelaide sighed and rolled her eyes. "Fine do it yourself," she grumbled, crossing her arms. Draco laughed at her attitude and continued doing what he was doing. "Ugh," Adelaide groaned as the pain in her head continued to increase. Draco turned to Adelaide, who was holding her head trying to resist the pain she was having.
"Are you alright?" Draco asked worried. "I'm fine, my head just hurts," Adelaide said. "Maybe you should go to Madam Pomfrey, don't you think?" Draco said. Adelaide shook her head. "No, I'll be fine," Adelaide said. "It'll just go away soon, hopefully," she added.
But her headache didn't go away at all throughout the day. The opposite happened, her headache just worsened. Adelaide laid her head down on the table in the Great Hall. It currently has time for dinner and she felt like crying. She couldn't handle the pain.
"I really think you should go to Madam Pomfry for a cure for that headache of yours," Draco said as he stopped eating his food and look at Adelaide. "Draco is right Adelaide, you need to go see Madam Pomfry," Blaise said. Adelaide looked up with tears streaming down her face. "Alright, I'll go now."
Before Adelaide could get up, Blaise grabbed her arm. "Adelaide are you okay? Why are you crying?" Blaise fanticly asked concerned. Adelaide laughed, "I'm fine, don't worry, my head just hurts so bad," she said reassuring them. They slowly nodded and Blaise left her go.
Adelaide walked out the Great Hall and made her way to the infirmary. She suddenly felt a sharp pang of pain, as her eyesight started getting blurry. She put her hand on the wall to sustain herself, as she felt herself growing weak. "I can't handle this anymore," Adelaide whispered as she lost the fight with the pain she felt. She gave in and collapsed on the floor, as her world soon filled with nothing but darkness.
