"Are you not going to get ready Adelaide?" Pansy asked noticing that Adelaide was just laying on her bed.

Pansy has been acting nice to Adelaide ever since she asked Draco to Hogsmeade for her. Adelaide found it a bit skeptical with Pansy's attitude with her, but she didn't say anything about it. Penelope also seemed to be acting off around Adelaide as well. She has been quiet when Adelaide was around them.

"I'm not going to be able to attend," Adelaide said, staring at the ceiling. Pansy frowned, "How come?"

"I forgot to ask my parents to sign my permission form."

Pansy nodded and suddenly groaned in frustration, which caught Adelaide's attention. "What's wrong?"

Pansy turned to face her and raised a green hair clip towards to Adelaide. "I can't put this on right." Adelaide raised her eyebrows, "Do you need help?" Pansy nodded, embarrassed. Adelaide sighed, getting up and grabbed the clip from her hand, bringing it up to Pansy's hair. "Where do you want to place it?"

"Here, on the side," Pansy replied, pointing to where she wanted the hairclip to be placed. "Actually, I think I have something better." Pansy looked up at her and watched as she looked through her drawer.

"Ah, here it is."

Adelaide pulled out a small black box. She opened the box, revealing the gold snake hair clip she got for Christmas first year, sitting on the soft green velvet cushion. It's been sitting there since the last time Adelaide worn it. Ever since Pansy accused her of stealing it and the argument she had with Penelope, she had no intention of wearing it again. She still kept it since it was an expensive gift.

Pansy's gasped as her eyes widened when she recognized the hair clip. Adelaide made her way forward towards Pansy and stopped in front of her. "I think this might look better than that plain green hair clip," Adelaide explained as she saw Pansy's shocked face. "Are you sure?" Pansy asked her.

Adelaide nodded and placed it where Pansy previously said she wanted the green hair clip to be. "I'm sorry," Pansy said with a hint of guilt in her voice. Adelaide tilted her head in confusion. "I'm sorry I accused you of stealing."

"It's fine, don't worry it's been two years," Adelaide said. She honestly couldn't care less about Pansy calling her a thief, it's been two years already.

"I think I'm ready," Pansy muttered to herself, trying to calm her nerves. "Do you think I look alright?" Pansy looked up at Adelaide, eyes full of worry and fear.

Adelaide looked at her. She saw how nervous she was about this 'date' with Draco. Pansy was scared, no matter how much time she spent getting ready to look presentable to Draco, she was scared he would still not like the way she looked. Adelaide looked away, before she turned back to Pansy, giving her a small smile.

"Yeah, don't worry. You look great and I'm sure he'll think so to," Adelaide tells her, relieving Pansy from her worry and fear.

Adelaide started walking towards the door to head out the dorm. "Are you coming?" She asked, seeing that Pansy hasn't moved from her spot.

"I'll be out in a minute, just need to calm myself a little bit."

Adelaide entered the common room and saw Draco who was laying on the sofa with a bored expression. Adelaide cleared her throat and walked to him.

"Thank you for going with her."

Draco's eyes lit up as he looked up at Adelaide, who was looking down at him. "And could you please be nice to her today? She's been looking forward for this." Adelaide added.

Draco frowned. "What?" Adelaide sighed, "The girl is scared and worried about your opinion on how she looks like." Draco laughed at this, causing Adelaide to frown. "I'm serious Draco, she's spent a while to make herself look presentable for your liking"

"What's the point? I don't even like her in generally anyways?" Draco scoffed. Adelaide glared at him, "The least you can do is be nice to her at least for today."

Before Draco could say anything, an opening door could be heard. Draco and Adelaide looked over to where the sound was heard. Pansy was close against the wall, with her cheeks tinted red.

"H-hey," Pansy breathed out, trying to steady her breath. Adelaide gave her a small smile and nudged Draco to say something. Draco groaned and rolled his eyes.

"Hey." Draco forced out and gave her a forced smile. Pansy walked towards the two. "Are you two ready to go then?" Adelaide asked her. Pansy looked up at Draco, as Draco looked at Adelaide. Adelaide gave Draco a look and he sighed.

"I guess we're ready to go then." Pansy beamed with joy and wrapped herself on Draco's arm. They walked out of the common room and headed outside.

"I hope you two have a good time!" Adelaide called out and the common room door closed.

Draco tried not to make a rude comment to Pansy. He sighed, looking down at her to politely tell her to back off. His eyes narrowed when he saw that gold snake hair clip on her hair.

"Why do you have that?" He asked sternly. Pansy looked up and frowned. "Have what Dracypoo?"

"Don't call me that," Draco said in disgust and yanked that hair clip out of Pansy's hair. "What are you doing!" Pansy exclaimed as she tried to get the hair clip back from him.

"Tell me where did you get this?!" He yelled. "Did you steal it from Rosewood?!" Pansy's eyes started to water, but Draco didn't care. He forgot what Adelaide had told him and glared at Pansy, before he turned around to walk away.

"Draco wait!" Pansy begged as she tried to follow him. "Adelaide put it on me!" She cried out. "Please, please stay!"

Draco turned around and gave her a cold stare. "She put this on you?" Pansy nodded and silently whimpered. Draco kept his cold stare on her, but give the hair pin back.

"Let's go." Draco said coldly and Pansy silently followed behind.
