Not much has happened since Adelaide came back from the infirmary for the next few weeks. The next month came along, and Pansy was freaking out. In two days, the students were going to Hogsmeade, and Pansy wanted to ask Draco to hang out with her, like a date.
"I don't know how to ask him!" Pansy panics, walking back and forth, with a fist tangled in her hair. "It's alright Pansy! I know he'll say yes," Penelope tells Pansy, attempting to comfort her. "Just ask him!"
Daphne started laughing out loud. "Yeah! Just ask him Pansy, I'm so sure that Draco totally will say yes to you're annoying arse," she says sarcastically and sat up from her bed. "How about we have Adelaide ask him for you?" Daphne suggested.
Adelaide looked up and furrowed her eyebrows. "What?" Daphne smirked, "You heard me." Adelaide sighed, "And why should I?" "Well for one, Draco obviously will listen to you rather than Pansy and second, we both what Pansy to shut up." Adelaide slightly nodded in agreement.
"No! I don't want that mudblood to be talking to Dracypoo," Pansy frowned, crossing her arms. "I could just ask him for her," Penelope said. "Penelope. You yourself know that Draco doesn't like you a bit. We don't know why, but he just doesn't, so it's better if you let Adelaide do it," Daphne said getting annoyed.
"Alright, I'll do it," Adelaide said, putting a stop to Pansy's panicking. Daphne grinned that she was successful. "Well what are you waiting for?" Pansy asked impatiently. "Wait, now?" Pansy rolled her eyes. "Yes!"
Adelaide sighed, got up from where she was, and headed to the door. "Don't you dare mess this up mudblood," Pansy warned.
Adelaide walked down to the common room. She looked around and saw that there was no sign of Draco. She thought about going back to her dorm, but she knew Pansy would make a big fuss about not looking for Draco. She groaned in frustration, and began her search for Draco.
She headed to the Great Hall. Once she got to the Great Hall, she looked around for the blonde haired boy and found no sign of him. She spent her next thirty minutes looking for him. "Okay, I don't have time for this," Adelaide huffed in defeat.
"Don't have time for what?" Adelaide quickly turned around to a familiar voice that she hadn't heard for a while. She came to face with Robert. She instantly smiled at him. "It's been awhile, hasn't it?" Robert gave a small chuckle, "Yes it has been awhile."
Adelaide looked over Robert's shoulder and caught a glimpse of the familiar blonde hair she was looking for. "Robert, I'm sorry, but I have to go." Robert frowned at the girl who started to run away from him. "Adelaide-, nevermind," he sighed through his nose, once he realized that she was already running to Draco Malfoy.
What he didn't realize was that he was clenching his fist, watching her be by his side.
"Malfoy!" Adelaide called out to the boy that she desperately needed to talk to. "Malf-umph." Adelaide crashed into a broad, well defined, hard chest. She could smell a familiar very expensive cologne, with a hint of mint.
"I think this has become our thing, don't you agree Rosewood?" Draco whispered in her ear, as he slyly wrapped his arms around her. Adelaide's eyes widened when she realized who it was and immediately pulled away. "This has not became our thing," she said, emphasizing the not.
"Anyways, where were you? I've been looking for you," Adelaide said, catching her breath. "Looking for me?" Draco smirked. "I'm rather surprised that you've come looking for me." "Yeah? Well it's not like I was forced to," she replied sarcastically. Draco raised his eyebrows.
Adelaide tried to put on her best smile, "Would you go with Pansy to Hogsmeade as a date?" Draco laughed, "Bloody hell no." Adelaide frowned, "I understand why you're saying no, but please say yes." Draco shook his head, "I'm sorry Rosewood, but no."
Draco turned around to leave, but Adelaide grabbed his arm, stopping him. "Please, just do it for my sake then," Adelaide pleaded. Draco looked at her. "Why for your sake?" He questioned. "I just can't handle it anymore! I can't handle her constantly talking about you in the dorm at night when I'm trying to rest!" Adelaide burst out. "I'm just hoping that she'd shut up after this."
Draco sighed and groaned. "Alright, fine. But you owe me, understood?" Adelaide grinned in relief and quickly nodded her head. "Oh thank you so much!" Adelaide squealed with joy and wrapped her arms around him, before she could stop herself. Draco chuckled and patted her head.
"Well I have to go and tell Pansy the news, so she'll stop panicking," Adelaide said as she let go of him. Draco smiled and gave a small laugh to himself as he watched Adelaide run to the dungeons.
"What is taking her so long?" Pansy groans in frustration. "I wouldn't have taken this long if I was sent," Penelope said. Daphne rolled her eyes, "She's probably taking long for a reason. Don't worry, I know she brings good news." "She betters if not I'm going t-"
The door of the dorm slams open with Adelaide holding herself to wall, catching her breath. "What took you so long?!" Pansy yells at her. "Oh, shut up will you? I had to go look for him in order to tell him," Adelaide said. "So? What he say?" Daphne asked. "He said he'll go with you to Hogsmeade," Adelaide said as she laid down in her bed.
Pansy light up and squared. "Oh my merlin! He said he'll go with me to Hogsmade!" Penelope looked at Adelaide, "Oh really? Did he say it would be a date?" Adealide knew Penelpoe was testing her to see if she did her demand right.
"Yes he did," Adelaide said, piercing her eyes through Penelope's. Adeliade turned to girl who beamed with joy. "In fact, he said he was waiting for you to ask him yourself Pansy," Adelaide lied. "So next time, ask him yourself."
"Well there you go Pansy," Daphne said. "I think someone here deserves a thank you." Pansy smilied, "Thank you Daphne!" Daphne rolled her eyes, "I may have come up with the idea, but I meant Adelaide, since she asked him for you."
Pansy turned to Adelaide and gave her a glare. She sighed and decided to gave Adelaide a small smile. "Thank you Rosewood, I guess you're not so useless after all."
