"Good afternoon class," Professor Lupin said walking in the room, with his briefcase in his hand. "Now then," he says as he stands in front of a wardrobe that started to wobble. "In this wardrobe, there's a boggart."

The students started to murmur among themselves. "Can anyone tell what is a boggart?" Lupin asked the students. Adelaide, who was beside Draco and this group, spoke up. "Boggarts are shape shifters. No one knows what they look like because they take the shape of whatever a particular person fears most."

"Excellent Miss Rosewood! Ten points to Slytherin!" Professor Lupin exclaims. "There's a very simple Cham that exists for repelling a Boggart. Let's practice shall we? Without wands, say Riddikulus!"

The whole class repeats after Professor Lupin. "This class is ridiculous," Draco mumbles causing Adelaide to laugh quietly. He turned and looked at the girl and smiled to himself. Professor Lupin speaks up once again, "Very well. Saying is the charm is the easy part, but the incantation alone isn't enough. What really finishes off a Boggart is laughter. You will need to force it into a shape you find truly amusing."

Lupin looks around. "Neville, will you come up here?" Neville walks forward to Professor Lupin nervously. "Now, what is that thing that frightens you the most Neville?" Lupin ask him. Neville mumbled something that wasn't audible to anyone. "What was that?" Lupin says as he leans his ear towards Neville.

"Professor Snape," Neville answers causing the whole class to laugh, even Professor Lupin. "Professor Snape," Lupin chuckles, "Frightens all... I believe you live with your grandmother right?" Neville nods. "I don't want the Boggart to turn into her either," Neville said.

"Don't worry, it will not, but I want you to picture her clothes, only her clothes. Can you do that?" Lupin asks him. Neville nods and closes his eyes. "She carries a red handbag--" "That fine, we don't need to hear it. If you see it, we will," Lupin tells him and walks besides Neville. "Now, when I open this wardrobe, here's what I want you to do," Lupin leans down and whispers something into Neville's ear.

"You can do this Neville!" Someone yelled out from the crowd of students in the room. "Wand at the ready, on the count of three Neville," the Professor tells him. "One, two, three!" Lupins counts and strikes the doorknob of the wardrobe. The door then bursts open, revealing Snape walking out of the furniture. Neville starts walking back away scared.

"You can do this Neville, think!" Lupin encourages him. Neville lifts his wand. "R-riddikulus!"

Snape stumbled backwards when his clothes changed into a green dress and carried a red handbag, with a big hat on his head. The class all laugh. Adelaide was extremely bored and didn't want to be there. Since she was at the back of the classroom with Draco's group, she could easily sneak away without anyone noticing, and that's exactly what she did.

She slowly walked backwards towards the door and quickly dashed out the door. "Finally I got out of there," Adelaide breathed. Adelaide walked back to the common room without getting caught. Shortly after she entered the common room, she heard the door open. She froze from her spot.

"I didn't think you were one to skip class Rosewood," she heard Draco say. She turned to face him. "Did you follow me?" Adelaide asked. "Of course not, I just needed to get out of that boring class," Draco lied. "What about you?" he asked her. "Same reason as you," Adelaide simply responded.

"Can I ask you something?" Draco asked softly. Adelaide nodded. "Why did you say those things at the end of the year last year?" Adelaide looked away. "Why can't you just do what I said and stay away from me?" she sighed. She didn't want to tell Draco what his father told her. "I thought I told you already, I can't do that Adelaide," Draco softly said as he walked closer to her.

Adelaide head shot up and looked at him. It was the first time she heard him call her by her first name. Adelaide cheeks turned rose pink and avoided looking at Draco. "You don't know what you're saying. We should really stay away from each other," Adelaide said nervously as she walks backwards, since Draco kept walked closer to her.

Adelaide couldn't walk back any further, since her back hit the wall. Draco pinned her to the wall, so she couldn't run off. "And why is that?" Draco asked her tilting his head. "W-well for multiple r-reasons of c-course," Adelaide stuttered due to the fact of how close he was. Draco smirked and leaned down to her ear. "Am I making you nervous Adelaide?" he whispered and Adelaide shivered as he felt his breathed tickle her earlobe.

Adelaide put her hands on his chest and attempted to push him away, but he didn't budge. He smirked even more. "Draco, I'm being serious," Adelaide told him. "So am I," he simply responded.

"Dracypoo! Are you here?" The door suddenly opened. Parkinson comes and followed by Penelope. "Draco move!" Adelaide whispered and attempted to push him off, but he still wouldn't budge. "She's going to see us like this!" Draco didn't say anything and just kept staring at her.

Parkinson gasped as she and Penelope saw the position Draco and Adelaide were in. "You filthy mudblood, get away from him!" Parkinson screamed as she marched over towards the two. Draco let go of Adelaide and glared at Parkinson. "Stop calling her a mudblood Pansy," he said sternly.

Adelaide, Penelope, and Parkinson all looked at him like he was crazy. They gape their mouths opened. "Draco are you okay?" Adelaide asked him. She couldn't comprehend what she just heard. "I bet she gave him a love potion," Penelope sneered. "I did not," Adelaide argued. "You did, didn't you? Why else would he say something like that? Why would he like a filthy mudblood like you?" Parkinson exclaimed.

Before Draco could respond, the door opens once again, revealing Blaise, followed by Crabbe and Goyle. Blaise came in laughing, who happened to hear everything. "What are you laughing at Blaise?" Pansy sneered. "Don't you know? I thought Draco made it pretty obvious," Blaise said as Draco tensed up. The three girls, plus Crabbe and Goyle, all looked at him confused. "What?" Penelope asked.

Blaise smirked and looked at Draco who started to turn red. Draco gave Blaise a 'don't you dare' look. Blaise rolled his eyes and looked at Adelaide, opening his mouth to speak.
