What the fuck.

"How is that even possible!?" Lance demanded, his hand gripping the bedrail so hard his knuckles were beyond white.

"Superfecundation. It means that a set of twins has two different fathers." She explained. I thought for a second.

"Can you give us a second?" I said finally. She nodded, and closed the door softly behind herself as she left the room. Lance picked up Shay gently, looking sadly at her.

"Lance, what do we do?"

"The way I see it, you have two choices. Either we can just go along and say that I'm the father of both of them, or you can call Dean and see what he wants to do."

"I think it would be unfair if I hid it from him, but he might just say he doesn't want to be apart of it." I said. Lance could tell I was starting to get anxious.

"Maybe we should put the babies down to sleep. They've had a rough day." One by one, he put them in the baskets they would be sleeping in, giving me free hands to crack my knuckles. He handed me my phone.

"Remember, the less involved he is, the better." He reminded me. His hate for Dean was never ending, and I knew he would be pissed if Dean wants to be apart of Shay's life. I found Dean's contact, then took a deep breath before pushing the call button.

One ring.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

"You've reached Dean Winchester. If it's important, call my brother Sam at (956)-738-7363."
I considered to wait for the voicemail tone, but I hung up a second earlier. Lance looked at me in confusion. I took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.

"Lance Harrison Tucker, I have deemed you the father of both of the twins."

After that whole deal, we signed the birth certificates, and then it was time to let Lance and my family in. Lance's dad and all three of my sisters were the first ones, and the second his dad walked in, Lance was stiff as a board. He seemed uncomfortable, and no doubt angry. Lance had a very tough childhood. His parents kicked him and all of his siblings out of their 4 story mansion in the Hollywood Hills when he was thirteen, and his older brother Rowan was forced to move them around the country surviving off of small jobs along the way. And their parents had never reached out to them once. Lance had forgiven his mom, seeing as she had apologized to him before she died from ovarian cancer six years ago.

"Dad, what are you doing here?" He asked tensely, stretching to his full height to tower over his dad.

"You have kids? I come and meet them." His dad replied sharply.

"Louis. It's nice to finally meet you." I smiled, holding out my hand. He shook it, putting his other hand over mine.

"I'm so sorry you ended up with my son." He whispered. Lance crossed his arms, tapping his foot impatiently.

"No need. These are my sisters, Kaylee, Harley, and Thea." Thea, who was holding Jace, looked up and her eyes widened.

"You look exactly like Lance!" She blurted, shocked. Louis grinned.

"He got lucky, don't you think?" He put a hand on Lance's shoulder roughly, and Lance sighed.

"Dad, do you want to hold a baby or not?"

"Absolutely! Don't worry, I only dropped you a couple of times." He winked at Lance, then cradled Shay as she was handed to him by Kaylee.

"How are you feeling?" She asked, leaning on the bed rail. I sighed.

"Like a bomb just went off inside of me."

"Just remember, this is all Lance's fault." Harley added, grinning at Lance. He made a throat cutting gesture, and Thea laughed.

"You're such a drama queen." She teased. He flipped her off.

"And you're such a bitch but hey, I don't throw it in your face." He snapped. This bickering went on for a while longer before Louis finally left, and Lance could relax.

"God, I hate him so much." He groaned, laying on the bed next to me. I patted his head.

"Yeah, parents suck."

"Cara, do you want me to get Ciara? She's sleeping in the waiting room with Steve." Harley asked, handing Jace back over to Thea. I nodded. She touched my hand and pulled Lance's shirt collar back to choke him before leaving the room. Lance glared back at her, and kicked back at the door so it hit her on the way out.

"Cara, they're so beautiful. I'm so proud of you." Kaylee cooed, looking down at Shay.

"India is going to flip out when she finds out I named one of my kids after myself." I sighed, running a hand through my ratty hair. Thea gave me a sour look.

"Yeah, not jealous about that at all." She muttered. Kaylee rolled her eyes.

"Don't be dramatic. And we can't just have two Thea's in our family."

"I wouldn't have minded, honestly." Thea shrugged. I sighed.

"I'm sure someone else will name a kid after you. You're quite the character." Thea had grown up without a mom since she was born, so she was kind of a mixture of all of us girls' bad habits. The boldness and recklessness was definitely from me, her lack of responsibility from Harley (and her bad driving skills), and her arrogance from Kaylee. So maybe we weren't the best parents. Doesn't matter.
Before Thea could retort, Harley came back in with Ciara in tow. I smiled because she was walking behind Harley, which was most likely because Ciara refused to let anyone carry her anywhere now.

"Mama!" She cheered. Lance smiled and sat up, reaching over and pulling her onto the bed.

"Hey, lovebug. You wanna meet your sister and brother?" I said softly, shifting as she climbed into my lap. She nodded, eyes wide open. Kaylee and Thea slowly made their way over, letting Ciara marvel her new siblings. They set the babies down in front of her, but she seemed scared of them. It was then I noticed that she was literally wearing Steve's Captain America shirt and socks. They must've left in a hurry.

"Honey, don't be scared. This is your sister and brother." Lance coaxed, rubbing her back gently. She giggled, reaching out to touch Jace. Jace's hair was dark, his eyes blue. His features strongly resembled Lance, but they were subject to change. Shay was a lighter blonde, her eyes also blue. My biggest fear was that it would be obvious that she wasn't Lance's daughter.
