— 2 (10 oz) packages of egg noodles
— 1 TBS olive oil
— 1 TBS salt
— 8 oz velveeta (cut into cubes)
— 3 (5 oz) cans tuna (drained)
— (15 oz) can peas (drained) - (optional)
— 2 (10.75 oz) cans condensed cream of celery soup
— 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
— 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
— 1 line of TownHouse crackers (crushed)INSTRUCTIONS
1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. 2. Cook egg noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 5 minutes.
3. Drain noodles and return to the pot. Pour olive oil and salt over the drained noodles; stir.
4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
5. Put processed cheese food cubes into a large, microwave-safe bowl. Heat in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth, 3 to 5 minutes.
6. Pour melted cheese over noodles and add tuna, peas, celery soup, mushroom soup, and black pepper. Stir to coat noodles completely; pour into a large casserole dish.
7. Sprinkle crushed crackers over casserole until covered to desired amount.
8. Bake in preheated oven until crackers just begin to brown (20 to 30 minutes).
