1. 6 cups chicken broth
2. 5 pounds red potatoes
3. 5 cloves of garlic
4. 1/2 cup salted butter
5. 4 oz cream cheese
6. 1/2 cup buttermilk
7. 1 tsp salt (optional)INSTRUCTIONS
1. Boil the chicken broth in a large pot over high heat.
2. Cut the unpeeled potatoes into 1 inch cubes or chunks.
3. Place potatoes and garlic cloves into the boiling chicken broth and boil until potatoes are tender. (About 15 minutes)
4. Strain the potatoes from the broth and move to a large mixing bowl.
5. Add butter, cream cheese, buttermilk, and salt.
6. Use a potato masher and mash potatoes and other ingredients together until creamy and combined.
