Vin couldn't help but laugh at her reaction. They waited for the elevator and Chamuel tried her best to calm herself down.

'Calm down, you frail heart. He can smell your feelings, you know!?'

The ride was awkward for Chamuel but Vin enjoyed her reaction, rather than feeling awkward he felt excited. They were alone in the elevator which made Chamuel more nervous.

When the elevator chimed and opened, Chamuel finally let out the breath that she was holding. To her surprise, they were back to their floor.

"Aren't you going to the mission?" Chamuel asked Vin when he also stepped out of the elevator and followed her to her room.

"I thought we should rest for a bit first, or get you more comfortable clothes." He said nonchalantly with a shrug. Chamuel looked at him with surprise.

"I'm coming with you?"

"Yeah, of course. From now on, where ever I go, you'll tag along. Wherever you go, I'll come with you."

'Even in the comfort room?'

She wanted to joke, but that topic does not look like it'll lead to a comfortable conversation for her. She wouldn't want the situation before to happen again. Her heart might not make it.

"Wasn't that an urgent mission though?" She said hesitantly as they continued walking to her room.

"Psh, no. Don't worry, we can take our time." He said with confidence. 'For him to be that confident, he must be skillful or something.' Chamuel thought.

Chamuel opened her door with the key that Vin gave her. The familiar room still seemed lavish, she wanted to rest for a bit but the room just doesn't scream 'homey atmosphere' at all for her. She sat at the mini sofa and closed her eyes.

Somehow, she doesn't know whether she's taking all the information well or it's just that the thought that she's in hell hasn't sunk in thoroughly.

"Do you want to change your clothes?" Vin asked Chamuel.

"Do you have any spare clothes?" Chamuel asked then looked at him from head to toe. "I think you're too big for me." Vin smirked before replying.

"Nah, I think it'll fit just right." He answered with a double meaning. Chamuel just looked at him plainly though. "Right." He said under his breath when Chamuel didn't react at all.

"Do you want to take a shower?"

"Yeah, that'd be nice."
She said, with a sigh of relief.

"My room has a bathroom, go take a bath. I'll bring your new clothes after a while. I'll ask someone." He said which made Chamuel's eyes lit up.

Without a second thought, Chamuel asked Vin where his room is and went there. Turns out, he has the room next door.

She was thinking that the bathroom would look like a medieval bathroom with big bathtubs that have carvings and small fountain but to her dismay, it was just a normal-looking hotel bathroom. She shrugged, it's not like she wants it to look medieval either, this bathroom is way comfortable.

She took her time bathing. She saw some candles in the cabinet so she lit it up and relaxed in the bathtub. She was humming while her eyes were closed.

It's been a while since she's been able to relax like this while taking a bath. Back when she was alive, taking a bath like this is her way of destressing. But she's been too stressed with work that she hasn't got the time to relax before she died. She loosened up with the help of the hot water gently easing up her built-up tension in her shoulders and muscles.
