After Johnny and Jo Dee left, and Christine and John left, Stevie and Lindsey were laying in Lindsey's bed, wrapped in each other's arms.
"You said you had three kids. Tell me about them." Stevie demands.
"Well, William is the oldest he's 13. Then there's Cole he's eight and Kate is four. Not Cathrine, Not Kaitlyn, just Kate. I only see them in the summers, a week at Christmas, Father's Day, and my Birthday. Their mother and I were complicated. We dated through college and while I was in Law School, she pretty much provided. She's an interior decorator." Lindsey explains.
"Gee, I'm sorry. But you'll be getting them soon, when does school get out?" Stevie asks.
"Next month. The Tenth." Lindsey smiles.
"I don't have kids. After my miscarriage, it was while I was still in Law School, I made a conscious decision to focus on my career. I always said maybe I'd try again someday, but I wasn't promising anything. Mick wasn't really happy about that. He always wanted a big family." Stevie answers, scraping her red fingernails down Lindsey's chest.
"Well, you have a good reason." Lindsey shrugs.

A few weeks pass and Lindsey and Stevie garnered a routine. They go to dinner every Thursday night and Saturday night. Saturday always ends at Lindsey's and they spend Sunday lounging together.
Lindsey was getting ready to take Stevie to a play when the doorbell rang. He groaned but made his way towards it. When he opened it he came face to face with three curly-haired children and an uptight blonde.
"Um, hi." Lindsey fish mouths as Kate tackles his legs.
"So they're yours." Kristen smiles.
"Well biologically yes, but legally, not until Monday." Lindsey cocks an eyebrow.
"I'll be blunt...I got a job offer in New York. They want me to host a TV show, Designing Manhattan. I'd be stupid not to take it." Kristen shrugs.
"So you're handing custody over to me then? Do our lawyers know about this?" Lindsey questions.
"Monday 8 in the morning family court. But I wanted them to get settled." Kristen replies.
"And she's got a date." William spits.
"Well so did I." Lindsey whines.
"Well call it off you have kids to think about now," Kristen states starting to walk away.
"Kit...Kristen!" Lindsey calls. She just waves and walks away.
Lindsey groans as the kids run into the house.
"Dad, can we order pizza, mom doesn't let us have it?" Cole questions.
"Give me a minute." Lindsey sighs, going to the phone in his office.
"Lindsey Hi! I'm just about ready." Stevie answers.
"Look Steph, I'm sorry but Kristen dropped the kids off early. She's starting some new job in New York. She's handing custody over." Lindsey explains.
"Well, that's good. You'll get to see your kids more." Stevie says.
"But it means we have to go see the play another night." Lindsey sighs.
"Oh Yeah...well that's okay. Hey, do you mind if I come over? I'd like to meet your kids." Stevie nonchalantly replies.
"Steph...I don't know." Lindsey peers out into the hall.
