When Cory agreed to take the kids for the night, allowing Lindsey and Stevie to actually spend adult time out, other than a simple dinner here and there. She had gifted them tickets to a play that her boyfriend wrote. Lindsey gladly was the legal counsel on it, explaining certain situations and his name was also on it. What was surprising was that it was actually being put on at a little theater in downtown Los Angeles.

The play was about two lawyers in love and Stevie found it extremely ironic, but she wasn't going to say anything. Especially to Cory or Lindsey

"So what did you think?" Lindsey asks.

"Well, it's agh...it...it...it's...it's got potential you can see that." Stevie nods as they stand up to make their way out of the theater.

"You didn't like it," Lindsey states knowing his wife way to well at this point.

"I'm going to be totally honest with you...how could you let them use your name as the Legal Counsel?" Stevie wraps her arms around his arm and lowers her voice.

"Was it that bad?" Lindsey gasps.

"Oh honey, it was awful." Stevie lays her head on his shoulder.

"Well, Steph...Cory really likes this guy and I was happy to work with him on it, we've got to think of something nice to say to him...what can we say to him?" Lindsey questions.

"I...I don't know." Stevie shakes her head.

She wraps her gold shawl around her black dress as they walk out of the building and take the few steps to the restaurant right next store where they were meeting him.

"Lindsey!" The young man waves as Lindsey smiles and leads Stevie over there.

"Hi Sam, You've met Cory's aunt right?" Lindsey questions.

"In passing, but I don't know your name." He blushes slightly.

"Stevie, or Stephanie...Congratulations." She smiles taking his hand.

"Thank you, thank you." He nods.

"I can't believe one person could've written all of those lyrics, dialogue, and composed all of that music. You'd think it would take hundreds of people." Stevie winces at how horrible that excuse sounds.

"It wasn't easy." Sam shakes his head.

Lindsey pulls out Stevie's chair for her, as the waiter comes up to them. "Can I start with drinks?"

"Um, I'll do your best red." Stevie smiles.

"I'll have a crown and coke. Everything is on us tonight." Lindsey adds.

"Oh you don't have to..." Sam shakes his head.

"No, we want to." Stevie places her hand on his wrist.

"Alright, I'll also have a crown and coke." Sam nods.

"I'll have to check your IDs." The waiter states as everyone starts pulling out their wallets.

After the waiter leaves Lindsey turns to Stevie, "Should you be drinking?" He asks.

"Lindsey, one small glass of wine isn't going to do anything. It's about ten now, Cory will be feeding her any second and then I won't have to feed her again until midnight. The alcohol will be mostly out of my system at this point." Stevie defends.

"So Mr. Buckingham, what did you think?" Sam questions.

"Well, it's got potential and you can see that." Lindsey nods as the waiter comes back with their drinks.
