After Lindsey and Stevie dropped the kids off with Christine and John, as they couldn't miss school, they were on the road to Palo Alto.

"I can't believe I let everyone talk me into going back." He pouts, merging onto another freeway.

"Why?" Stevie asks looking at him.

"They don't like me." He shakes his head.

"And why is that?" Stevie sighs.

"Because after I graduated from Law School everybody just figured I was going to go back and be the town lawyer. They even got me a shingle and when I went to LA, they all thought I let them down and last time I went back the still felt the same way." Lindsey explains.

"How long ago was that?" Stevie asks.

"Oh, when I got married to Kristen, so about fifteen years ago," Lindsey explains.

"Lindsey, that's history at this point, no one can hold a grudge that long." Stevie shrugs.

"I bet everyone that still remembers does. All but Aunt Elise, she's the one that we're going to be staying with. My dad's sister.  But there is one guy that still...Javier Pacheco. I dated his sister and he got mad. He's been mad ever since." Lindsey sighs.

"He didn't want you to date his sister?" Stevie chuckles.

"No, that was alright. She started looking to get married and at the time I didn't want to." Lindsey shrugs.

"Oh, so you broke up with her."  Stevie laughs.

"Yeah, and then I went to college and hooked up with Kristen, and Javi got angry," Lindsey explains.

"I see...so you just didn't want to marry his sister then...whatever happened to her?" Stevie asks intertwining their fingers over the center council of the SUV.

"Sherrie, She's mad too...last time I heard she is still single and lives with Javi, and that's why he's mad," Lindsey smirks as Stevie cackles from next to him.

When they get too Palo Alto, Stevie is at the end of her sixth week and beginning of her seventh. She still hasn't told Lindsey but she stopped him several times on the five-hour car ride to go to the bathroom and he was starting to get angry.

"Stevie, why did you drink so much damn water, we only have an hour left so we are not stopping again," Lindsey growls when she slides back into the car.

"I'm sorry okay," Stevie whines slumping in her seat and angrily buckling it up.

"We've stopped once on the hour." Lindsey whines.

"I'm sorry...don't yell at me. I know you're stressed about seeing your family, but don't take it out on me." Stevie hisses.

Pulling up they're met with a plethora of people and LIndsey quickly jogs out of the car and greets them.

"Hi, Aunt Elise...this is my wife Stephanie," He introduces to everyone.

"Oh, it is so good to meet you. When Lindsey said that he married a District Attorney we were surprised but he speaks so highly of you." Elise grins hugging Stevie.

"Well it's so good to meet you thanks so much for having me, I um brought you some sunflowers." Stevie hands her the pot of flowers.

"Oh aren't those just lovely." Elise states.

"Well aren't you just the spitting image of your father...Stevie, this is my nephew Greg Junior, my brother Greg passed away about seven years ago from a heart attack. It tore me apart when I missed his funeral but I was just so backed up in court." Lindsey sighs.
