"Hi Babe," Stevie smiles walking up behind Lindsey as he was drinking out of the water fountain before the hearing.
"Babe huh?" He asks turning around and taking her into his arms.
"What you don't like it?" She asks.
"No, I do like it." He smirks pecking his lips.
"You look good in your new suit." She smiles.
"Thanks." He replies holding her tightly.
"So where's your client?" She asks.
"Over there, talking to Ms. Hutt, make that Ms. Hutt's." Lindsey turns her around and presses her back into him.
"I know it's wrong, but you've got to admire him...no not admire him...wonder-three wives. Can you believe it." He sighs.
"Call it a flaw in his character. You don't have any more wives do you?" Stevie asks rubbing her thumbs along his hands where they're clasped around her hips.
"Not in the slightest. Just one is fine for me?" He kisses her cheek.
"Two-Kristen."
"She doesn't count, she's not my wife anymore" Lindsey lays his head on her shoulder.
"Well, this is going to be a fun case." She winks pushing away from him.

Kate and Christine walk into the courtroom just as it's about to start and Kate leans over to her father, "I think we've got this case wrapped."
"That's good, that's exactly what the District Attorney thinks, are you ready to do this on your own?" Lindsey asks as Kate peers over him. She had recently passed the LSATs and she was about to start law school at Stanford. Lindsey had gotten approval by the judge to have her be council and he would be co-council.
"Mom, what did you tell her?" Kate asks.
"Nothing. I didn't even know she was prosecuting this case." Lindsey shrugs.

"And in response to the decedent's brother's accusation, did the defendant say anything?" Stevie asks her third witness of the day.
"Yes, He was alive when I left, we struggled. I guess I hit him with that vase but he was alive."
"This is marked People's exhibit 8, do you recognize it?"
"Yes, that's the vase we found next to the body. And which was stained with blood." The cop she's questioning answers.
"It has also been stipulated by the defense that the fingerprints found on this vase match those belonging to the defendant."

The next witness was one of the Mrs. Hutt's.
"It was amusing. I was delighted at the whole scene. What about Dana Hutt?"
"She seemed surprised, shocked really," Stevie leans against her table.
"Surprised, Shocked?"
"Yes."
"What did she do?"
"She blew up and flew out of the restaurant."
"Oh, she was angry."
"If looks could kill."
"Objection, non-responsive," Kate calls.
"Sustained." The judge nods. "Was she angry or not?"
