Yami's POV

"Sennen!"

The desk lady's looks up to us startled as yugi basically yells in her face after running all the way from the car with me on his trail,

"Oh yes...please take a seat the doctor will be with you shortly"

I nod and sit down in one on his hospital chairs, as yugi paces back and forth covering his mouth silently sobbing,

"Baby please come here...."

He doesn't stop pacing so I get up and pull him into a tight warm hug, kissing his head here and there while also rubbing his back,

"W-What if she died w-what if?!"

He sobs into my chest clutching my shirt tightly,

"Sennen?"
He pulls away from me and looks at the doctor and basically runs to him,

"Is she okay? What happened? Where is she? Is she alive? Answer me dammit!"

"Shhh baby give him a change to"

I hug him from behind, wrapping my arms around his waist, and rubbing his tummy to try and smooth him,

"You can see her now"

The doctor says and leads us back into the hospital, passing many doors, rooms and Ill people,

"She's in there room 205"

He doctor stops us for a moment by grabbing the door handle.

"There's something you need to know"

"What? Is she dead?!"

He shakes his head with a weak smile,

"No she's very alive and healthy we were able to treat her and get her through it but it may occurs again further down the line as she grows up and if she does we will have to treat her again but there is one consequence for our action..."

"Consequences?"

He nods opening the door letting us step inside and seeing our baby girl awake and kicking staring at the stuffed animals hanging from a little baby crib top,

Yugi runs to her and picks her up cradling her and swaying back and forth kissing her head over and over again,

She starts to cry...like badly, she looks terrified? She's never been scared of us,

"W-whats wrong with her?!"

Yugi asks trying to calm her,

She sees the doctor and makes grabby hands toward him but yugi keeps ahold of her trying to calm her,

"She's forgot everything... she's lost what little memory she had, she no longer knows you are her parents, to her your strangers"

My heart breaks and it's as if I can hear yugi's explode, he looks at her with tear filled eyes and a broken expression,

"W-what?... no...no...Abby baby it's mommy... remember mommy?"

Abby looks back at yugi and starts crying again and yugi starts full on sobbing, holding her against his chest,

"Is this reversible?"

He shakes his head sighing deeply,

"She May Remember later on, she may not know you today and remember you tomorrow it's just a matter of time but it's likely she will remember, or in the worst case...she may never"
