Date Night

So tonight was the godforsaken date that I have to go on which I am so not excited about.

Lydia had picked out my outfit for me, and so I was wearing a coral colored cold shoulder top, light ripped jeans, and a pair of brown booties to finish off the look. She also did my makeup, going for a natural look with some light lipgloss.

Right now Lydia and I were helping out my sister to find a cute outfit for her to wear, and Lydia wasn't liking anything she picked out.

"Mmm, pass." Lydia said when my sister showed us a top. Allison then took out another top and Lydia passed that one too. "Let me see." She got up and walked to her closet, passing a few of her tops before landing on a sparky black top with short sheer sleeves.

"Hey, Dad!" I said when he came into Allison's bedroom without knocking, holding a jacket in his hand.

"Right. I'm sorry. I completely forgot to knock." He apologized.

Lydia then dove onto the bed and tried to look cute. "Hey, Mr. Argent."

"Dad, do you need something?" Allison asked him, wanting him to leave her room.

"I wanted to tell you that you will be staying in tonight."

"What? We're going out with my friends tonight?" Allison said.

"We're?" Dad questioned, looking over at me.

"Oh, I'm kind of being forced to go. In all honesty, I'd rather stay home and binge-watch Star Wars or Harry Potter all night long, but instead I'm being forced to go and hang out with them." I pointed to the girls, and they glared playfully at me.

"Not when some animal out there is attacking people." He said.

"Dad, Dad, I'm-"

"It's out of my hands. There's a curfew. No one's allowed out past 9:30 pm." He told us. "Hey, no more arguing." He then left the room and Allison let out a sigh in annoyance.

"Hmph. Someone's daddy's little girls." Lydia said teasingly.

"Sometimes." Allison said. "But not tonight." She put on her coat and beanie before walking over to the window and opening it as wide as it could go. She climbed out of the window and onto the roof, going towards the edge of it.

"What are you doing?" Lydia asked her, but it was already too late. She flipped off the roof and landed on her feet, stumbling a bit.

"Eight years gymnastics. Are you coming?" Allison asked us. I climbed out of the window and went to the ledge before doing a flip just like Allison did and landed perfectly on my feet, not even stumbling once from the landing.

We both then looked up at Lydia, and she said, "I'll take the stairs."

We soon got to the bowling alley, and we walked in. We quickly got our shoes before meeting the boys at one of the lanes. Scott greeted Allison and I while Jackson ignored me and went straight to Lydia, but said a quick hi to my sister.

"Hey, I'm Ryder Kane. I'm guessing you're the girl that Lydia set me up with?" The boy in front of me held out his hand for me to shake and I took it with a smile on my face. The boy was obviously two years older than me, and he had light brown hair with light green eyes.

"Yeah, I'm Casey Argent. It's nice to meet you." I introduced myself, letting go of his hand.

"Argent? So you're related to Allison?" He said, grabbing a bowling ball that would work well for him.

"Yeah, I'm her younger sister." I told him as I grabbed a bowling ball for myself as well.

"That's cool. Are you a freshman?" He asked me when we got back to the others.
