"Hold up, what did Mr. Harris give him?" I asked Scott. He called me this morning after the little car chase he had with my Aunt last night, and she is pissed that they got away.
"A drawing."
"A drawing? How in the hell is a drawing going to help you?"
"It's what the drawings of. It looks exactly like Allison's necklace." He said.
"You mean the pendant that my Auntie Kate gave her? It's a family heirloom, what does that have to do with anything?" I asked him.
"We don't know yet, but we need it. Can you grab it?"
"I can try." I said. "I'll raid her room later on, but Scott, you need to be careful now more than ever."
"Why?"
"Because my Aunt's on to you. She has a theory that one of the betas might be younger too, not just smaller." I told him.
"Okay, thanks for the heads up. I'll talk to you later. Bye."
"Bye." I hung up the phone and grabbed my backpack for school. "Dad, are you ready?!" I called out.
"Yeah, just meet me in the car!" I heard him yell and that's when I was stopped.
"Casey," I turn to my Aunt Kate.
"Morning, Auntie Kate." I smiled at her.
"You too. Listen, I've been thinking, and I want you to help me train Allison." She said, and my eyes widened.
Is she mentally insane?! Mom and Dad don't want Allison to know yet. They don't even know if they're ever even going to tell her!
"I-I don't know, Auntie Kate. I thought my parents wanted to be the ones to tell her." I crossed my arms.
"They do, but she deserves to know. I mean, the alpha's going after you two, and she needs to know how to defend herself. Now, will you help me or not?" She asked me, crossing her arms and staring me down.
I sighed, knowing she won't give up. "Fine. I'll help."
She smiled. "Good. Now get to school, you're going to be late. We'll continue this later." She said, and I walked away from her to meet my dad.
I don't understand why she's doing this, but she's acting strange. Why does she care so much about Allison learning about our family? And why does she care so much about Derek Hale?
-
"She was just acting so weird." I said to Jocelyn as we sat down at our usual lunch table.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"She wants me to help her teach Allison about our family." I told her, opening my water bottle and taking a sip.
"I thought your parents wanted to be the ones to tell her?" She asked, taking a bite of her pizza.
"They do. But she's telling her anyway. She's just being so secretive lately. She's hiding something, but I have no idea what?"
"Hey, guys!" I turn around to see Mason sitting down next to us and I smile.
"Hey, Mason!" We greet him.
"So, are you guys going to the lacrosse game tonight?" He asked us.
"Oh, I completely forgot about that." I said. "I think I might go. What about you Jocelyn?" We look at her.
"Possibly. I'm not really a sports kind of girl." She said, bringing her water bottle up to her lips and drinking from it.
I was about to say something else when suddenly my phone buzzed. I took it out to see a text from Stiles.
