I felt like crying as I witnessed my aunt electrocuting the living daylights out of him. I wanted to help him, but I couldn't do anything. Not without my aunt and Allison finding out about what I am.

"Aah!" I flinched at the sound of his pain filled screams, watching him jolt and twitch uncontrollably.

"What are you doing to him? Is that gonna kill him?" Allison asked her.

"Oh, come on, kiddo. Don't get all ethical on me now." Aunt Kate said, enjoying Derek's pain and the torment that she was causing him.

"What is he?" She asked.

"Shape-shifter. Lycan. Werewolf." Aunt Kate laughed at the last one, but I couldn't find any humor in it. "To me he's just another dumb animal."

"Come here." She got up and walked over to him. She reached up and pried open his mouth to reveal his sharp teeth. "See these right here? Casey, tell me what these are." She asked me.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and I gathered my courage to answer here. "They're called canines, also known as fangs. Made for the tearing and rending of flesh."

My sister looked at me in shock when I said that as we stepped closer to her.

"Not something you'd find on those cute little leaf-eating herbivores, is it?" Aunt Kate asked rhetorically.

"This is a joke to you?" Allison questioned, not liking how our aunt was acting.

"Sweetheart, there are werewolves running around in the world. Everything's a joke to me. How else do you think I stay sane?" She asked her.

"So... it was him at the high school, and all the other animal attacks?"

She better not.

"There's actually three of them..." she starts, leading us out the door.

And she did.

"Another young one like him called a beta, and then there's the alpha. Alpha's the pack leader- bigger, stronger, nastier. Those... are the real ugly monsters..."

-

"So you knew?" Allison asked me right when we got out of there. "You know about our family."

"Allison, I-"

"No, you knew and you didn't tell me." She cut me off.

"I wasn't allowed to! Like Auntie Kate said, Mom and Dad didn't know if they wanted to tell you or not because this world is dangerous! The life I live is dangerous! We were trying to protect you!" I told her, but she just shook her head at me.

"No. No, you lied. I don't need protecting! Especially from my little sister. Why did they tell you and not me?" She asked me, and I didn't answer. I can't tell her.

"Casey? Casey! Why you and not me?" She asked again.

"I-I can't tell you." I sort of mumbled, but I knew she heard me.

She scoffed. "Great, more secrets. Lovely. Just keep on lying to me."

"I don't want to lie to you, Allison! But I promised-"

"You promised who? Mom and dad?" I didn't answer because I knew she knew the answer to that question. "They did, didn't they?"

"I'll see you at home." Allison hopped in her car and drove away. I felt hot tears trailing down my cheeks and I didn't know what else to do.

So, my sister and I are still in a fight, but for some odd reason, Lydia and Jocelyn have made it their mission to help us make up. For example, having me come dress shopping with them for their winter formal.

"I have a lot on my mind." I heard my sister say to Lydia.

"You could smile, at least. The same with you, Casey." She added. "Ever heard of the saying, 'Never frown. Someone could be falling in love with your smile'? Smile, Allison. I'm buying you a dress, and we're helping Jocelyn pick one out."

"So, what color should I get?" She asked me and I look at her.

"How about red? I mean, it is your favorite color." I said.

"You're right. Oh, look, there's Stiles!"

I look over just in time to see Stiles accidentally spray perfume in his face. We giggled at his actions and the face he makes afterwards.

"He is such a goofball." I commented.

"Yeah, but you hang out with that goofball." She pointed out.

"True."

"Casey! Jocelyn!" Lydia called us over, and we walked over to find some dresses. Jocelyn and I started to sift through the racks to find her the perfect dress but there were so many to choose from!

How did I get myself into this? Oh, right, my friends wanted me and my sister to make amends.

"What about this one?" Jocelyn puts a red dress up to her body that looked nice. It was a simple spaghetti strap dress in a v-neck, and the bottom went to her knees.

"I like it." I smiled at her.

"Hey, who's that with your sister?" She points behind me. I furrowed my eyebrows and turn around just to see Peter Hale talking to my sister.

"I'll be right back." I said to Jocelyn and I walk up to my sister. "Hey, Allicat. You find a dress yet?"

Allison gives me an annoyed look mixed with a glare and just nodded at me in response.

"Attention shoppers. To the owner of a blue Mazda, license plate 5UN 5768. Your car is being towed."

Someone announces over the loudspeaker and I look at Allison, and she looks at me.

"Alli, that's your car." I said, and she shoved her dress in my hands before running off to go tend to her car.

"Trouble in paradise?" An annoying voice said next to me and I glare at him.

"Leave her out of this, Peter. Do what you want to me, but stay the hell away from my sister." I said, my voice filled with venom.

"Well that's no fun." He pouted. "Now, I must be going. You know, places to be, hunters to kill." He leaned in closer to whisper something in my ear. "And who knows, maybe the next hunter that I kill might be one of you." He said, referring to my family.

Peter pulled away, a smirk growing on his face. "Have a nice day, Casey." I watched him turn around and walk away from me. I watched his retreating figure until it was out of my sight.

Allison had left with Jackson for the dance a few hours ago and so here I was, just sitting on my bed and sketching while listening to music and eating some popcorn.

I bring my iced tea up to my lips when I gasped. I suddenly got this bad feeling in my stomach, like something bad was happening. Fear and absolute terror run through my body. But it wasn't mine. No, not mine.

Allison's...

Or so I believed.
