After what happened at the game Firass took me home. I refused to leave at first because I wanted to help look for him, but Firass told me no because of my leg, saying I wasn't fully recovered, and he wasn't wrong.
I felt like bursting into tears when I walked through the door and I saw my dad in the corner of my eye.
"Hey, how was the- What's wrong?" He asked me when he saw the look on my face.
"Jackson's dead, Dad. And to top it all off, Stiles is missing." I tell him, and he wrapped his arms around me.
"Everything's gonna be okay, squirt, I'm sure they'll find him." He said. "Come on, Hartley's been dying to see you all night." We went upstairs to my room and saw Hartley sleeping on my bed. His ears perked up when he heard us, and immediately got off the bed, running towards me.
"Hey, puppy." I picked him up, hugging him to my chest. "Come on, let's go see Allison." I walked out of my room and into Dad's to see him talking to her, and he was not happy.
Not at all.
"What's going on?" I asked them, and the both of them looked at me.
"Nothing. Just go to bed, Casey." Allison told me, and I knew she was lying to me. I put Hartley down and tell him to go back to my room before looking at her.
"Funny. So tell me, what's going on?" I asked them again, and my dad sighed. "Actually, don't tell me. I already know. You wanna kill Derek because of what happened to Mom, am I right?"
Allison didn't say anything.
"You know, revenge isn't always the answer. No one deserves to die. Not even Derek." I said.
"How do you think Jackson became the kanima in the first place?" Allison asked me. "Kate, Mom, Jackson."
"What about Scott?" Dad asked her, and she stopped what she was doing. "What if he dies too?"
"Since when did you care about Scott?" She asked him.
"I care about you. The both of you." Dad said, and Allison scoffed.
"Really, Dad? If you're going to start quoting from the list of the top five things a parent should say to a child every day, why don't you start with, "I'm proud of you because I am doing exactly what you wanted." Allison walked away from us, sitting down on her bed.
"No, Allison. You're doing exactly what he wants. We all are."
I looked at my sister. "He's manipulating you, Allison. Why can't you see that?"
"No, he's not." She said stubbornly, and I rolled my eyes. "I'm tired. I just really want to pass out, okay?"
"Fine." Dad said, and I saw him grab her crossbow, picking up her dagger.
"No, let me." I said to my dad, taking the crossbow in my hands.
"By the way, don't forget you owe me a new bow." Allison said, and I smirked as I walked over to her window and opened it wide.
"And now I owe you a new crossbow." Her head whipped around to look at me as my eyes flashed and I set the crossbow on fire, throwing it out the window.
"Casey-"
"Don't, Allison. Just don't." I walked up to her. "I don't know what you did, but this ends now."
-
"Scott. Firass. Jocelyn. Isaac." I said when I got out of the car, and I looked behind them to see that they were dragging around a body bag.
What the hell?
"You're alone." Scott stated when saw my dad, and I raised an eyebrow at him.
