"Casey? Casey, can you hear me? Casey, wake up. Wake up!" I heard someone yell, and I opened my eyes to see Derek and Deaton kneeling over me.
"D-Derek? What happened?" He helped me sit up, grabbing something from Deaton.
"Lydia happened." He said, and I felt something cool being poured in my hand, but it felt reenergizing. I looked down and I saw that my wounds were healed up, and he brought the water up to my lips, helping me drink it.
When I had enough strength I pushed it away, sitting up on my own.
"What happened?" I asked them both.
"The both of you are going to be weak for several hours. Try not to exert yourself, Casey." Deaton warned me, and I started to stand up, wobbling a bit. Derek grabbed me, helping me stand.
"It actually happened." He mumbled, looking out of it.
What does he mean by that?
"Don't worry. You're still an alpha." Deaton assured him. "But, as usual, not a particularly competent one."
"Wait, why did Lydia take Casey?" Derek asked him, and I wondered the same as well.
Deaton glanced at me. "Because Casey is the silver-eyed elemental. Life and energy flows through her because of her connection to the earth and to other elementals."
"I-I don't understand." I said, and he gave me a small smile.
"You will one day." He simply told me.
"Where is he?" Derek demanded.
Who is he talking about?
"I wish I could tell you."
"How about you tell me what you're doing here, and why you're helping me." He said.
"Helping your family actually used to be a pretty important part of my life." He tells him, and Derek looked shocked. "Helping you was a promise I made to your mother."
"You're the one my sister talked about." He said, and I was really confused. "She said you're a... kind of advisor?"
"She was right. And I have some advice that you both need to listen to very closely right now. What Peter managed to do doesn't come without a price. He'll be physically weak, so he'll rely on the strength of his intelligence, his cunning." He says and my eyes widened.
"Wait, Peter's back? Oh, hell no!" I said, not wanting to believe that he was really back.
"He's gonna come at you, Derek. He'll try to twist his way inside your head, preying on your insecurities. He'll tell you that he's the only way you can stop Gerard. Do not trust him." Deaton warned him.
"I don't trust anyone." Derek said in response.
"I know. If you did, you might be the alpha you like to think you are." He said. "And unfortunately, one of the people you should trust doesn't trust you at all. But Casey does."
Derek looks at me for confirmation and I smiled at him, nodding my head.
"Scott." He said.
"He's with Stilinski right now. You need to find him, you need to find him as fast as you can. I've known Gerard for a long time. Casey, you and I both know that he always has a plan. Don't let him manipulate you." He said, and I nodded. "Something tells me... it's going exactly the way he wants it to."

Since Derek and I both needed to change before we went to the Sheriff's Station, we went to Derek's first, and then he took me to my house.
