"Jocelyn!" I called after, catching up with her on her way to her locker, which happened to be right next to mine. "So, Stiles just texted me."

"He did? What did he say?" She asked, pulling out her math books.

"So, turns out that my sister doesn't make Scott weak. Apparently, she's like some kind of anchor for him; she pretty much brings him back." I explained to her.

"He found his anchor? Finally." She said, shutting her locker and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"What? Hold up, you know what an anchor is?" I asked.

"Of course. Our anchors help us learn control. I mean, my anchor is my Firass, and vice versa. Whilst yours is Allison. Then again, they can always change, but our anchors are our anchors, and we protect them at all costs." She told me.

I smiled. "That is actually really interesting to know. Hey, do you wanna hang out after school? I just have to come up with a lie for my dad to say yes."

"Sure." She said. "We can say that we're having a study group at Sasha's house for science because we have a big test tomorrow." She kept walking off to lunch.

"But we don't know a Sasha! Or have a big test in science tomorrow!" I called after her.

"Exactly!" She yelled back, and I started to follow after her.

"I'm so surprised that my dad said yes." I said as we were waiting for Jocelyn's brother Firass to pick us up.

"Be happy that he did. You need some time away from them anyway. Now you can finally meet my family. They're excited to meet you, especially my grandma." She said.

"And I'm excited to meet them too." I said, and that's when a black Honda Civic pulled up.

They lowered the window and I got a good look at the driver. He has ashy blonde hair, but the same amber eyes that Jocelyn had.

So this must be her brother.

"Get in, sunshine!" Her brother said, rolling your the window.

"Don't mind him. He's just an idiot." She said and I giggled.

Jocelyn got in the front seat while I got in the back. I closed the door and buckled, and soon we were off.

"So, who's your friend?" Firass asked. "Oh, how rude of me? I'm Jocelyn's older brother Firass. I'd shake your hand, but I kinda need to focus on the road here."

I laughed at him. "It's okay. I'm Casey Argent. It's really nice to meet you Firass."

"Hold up, are you related to Allison Argent?" He asked me.

I nodded. "Yeah. She's my big sister."

"Oh. She's hot." He said, turning the wheel to go left.

"Firass!" Jocelyn glared at him.

"What? It's true. I mean, she has a boyfriend though. Scott, I think? I'm pretty sure he's on the lacrosse team with his friend Stiles. They're okay, but I just never really talked to them." He said.

"Don't worry, it's okay, guys. I'm not mad. And yeah, she is dating Scott. He's really nice while Stiles is a bit unusual, but I think we're both growing on each other." I said.

"Cool. We're home." Firass said, stopping the car. I grabbed my bag and got out of the car just to see a beautiful white three-story house that has a bay window on the third floor. There were trimmed bushes around the house, a white-picket fence, and some flowers that were dead currently.
