I had spent a majority of my time in the Containment Unit. The only people I could confide in at The Facility were locked away. Xander had been busy, working on getting ready to take over I suppose.
I couldn't tell if Nathaniel trusted me or not. He wasn't cold towards me, but he wasn't exactly the most open either. The most that I knew about him at the time was that he hated his father.
It was odd, knowing that Xander had a son who was almost the complete opposite of him. The only thing they had in common was their underlying hatred. While Xander wasn't open about a lot of things, he made it clear to me that he despised Prodigials. I don't know why, considering he was making them. But he told me that "the only good Prodigial was a controlled Prodigial". I had asked him why he didn't tell me about them, why I had to find out for myself that they existed. He told me that he was hoping that all of them would have been taken care of before something big happened. Obviously, that didn't happen.
The other teenagers in The Facility didn't seem to know what was going on. They were oblivious to everything. I had to give Xander credit, he knew how to cover things up. After the escape happened, three more teens were brought to The Facility. Besides me, there were ten teenagers left in The Facility, and there were more to come.
I didn't talk to any of them. I wasn't in the mood to make friends. The only people I needed by my side were either gone or locked up.
I spent most of my time in the training room. Dr. Helena was trying her best to get me into a fighting mood, but it wasn't working. I was focused on escaping. I knew everything I needed to do, but I needed someone higher up to help me. I needed The Master.
