Chapter 44: Katsuki and Izuku vs All Might

(Y/n) gasped in shock, watching as Katsuki backhanded Izuku. The other boy cowered on the ground. In the next second, All Might released a punch, sending a shockwave down the street.

He approached the two and Katsuki hit him with a stun grenade. He leaped at All Might, who grabbed him by the head. Katsuki fired off explosions in the pros face, not doing much damage though. All Might slammed his head into the concrete, knocking him unconscious.

Practically teleporting over to Izuku, he startled the greenette into leaping up and away, colliding with Katsuki in the air as they both jumped upwards.

"They can never seem to get along." (Y/n) murmured, shaking her head.

They both quickly recovered, only to be met with another burst of attacks. All Might broke off some metal railings and pinned Izuku to the street with them. He shot towards Katsuki, punching him in the gut so forcefully he threw up. His body tumbled and skidded across the ground. Once he stopped, he pushed himself up, his arms trembling.

All Might said something to him, but he didn't look up. He replied with something and All Might raised his fist to punch him again. Then, Izuku came out of nowhere and socked his childhood friend in the jaw, knocking him away again.

Picking him up, Izuku bunny-hopped away into an alley to get away from the pro hero.

"Good call Izuku. Regroup and come up with a strategy." (Y/n) nodded. She knew he didn't have a chance of convincing Katsuki to listen to him. He was an independent prideful boy who had a hard time taking orders from anyone he considered below him.

On the other hand, she believed in Izuku, hoping he would somehow convince the hot-head to work with him... somehow...

As All Might ran down the street to the escape gate, Katsuki surprised him from behind and set off explosions right at his back. When All Might turned to deal with him, Izuku came in from the other side with one of Katsuki's grenade gauntlets.

He aimed at All Might, finger in the pin of the gauntlet.

"Izuku, no!" (Y/n) cried to the monitor. He pulled the pin, sending a huge explosion to hit All Might. Izuku was thrown back from the force and his shoulder was wrenched awkwardly back as well.

"You're not as trained as Katsuki to handle the explosions Izuku..." (Y/n) trailed off.

Izuku and Katsuki turned to run through the gate. As their backs were turned, the dust cleared around All Might, and he grinned, the shadows falling over his face seeming more menacing. In the blink of an eye, he had caught up to them.

Katsuki raised his gauntlet to set off another blast, but All Might destroyed both of them with a single punch.

He kneed Katsuki in the face, sending him careening into a building. When he emerged from the rubble, All Might took Izuku by the wrist and slammed him into the other boy. The dust settled again and All Might stood triumphantly, holding Izuku by the wrist and Katsuki pinned under his foot.

All Might tossed Izuku away, lecturing them both. Katsuki's face contorted into a snarl and a fired an explosion right under All Might.

"What happened?" Uraraka exclaimed.

"I can't see a thing on the monitors!" Iida chopped the air rigidly.

"Izuku... Katsuki..." (Y/n) murmured.

Suddenly, Izuku was yeeted from the cloud of smoke by Katsuki and his explosion. For a second, it looked like he was going to make it.

Then All Might came barreling out of the dust and slammed into Izuku's back. The force knocked him into the side of a bus and he rebounded, skidding across the ground.
