"Shoto!"
The heterochromatic boy turned as someone called his name.
"Hello (Y/n)." he smiled.
"Hey. Sorry it took me a little while to get here." she panted.
"No, you're right on time."
(Y/n) took a moment to glance around the hospital's waiting room.
"Why are we here?" she asked, standing upright.
"There's someone I'd like you to meet." he answered simply. After signing in at the front desk, the two teens walked together down a stretch of hallway. Shoto stopped before a door and knocked. A gentle "come in." greeted them.
Shoto slid open the door and gestured (Y/n) inside. She stepped into a clean white room and gasped.
In a chair by the window sat a beautiful woman with snow-white hair. As she turned her head, (Y/n) saw the family resemblance.
"Mom, this is (Y/n). (Y/n), my mom." Shoto introduced. The woman rose gracefully from her chair and smiled.
"I've heard a lot about you from Shoto." she said. After glancing at Shoto over (Y/n)'s shoulder, she added-
"Although, I've heard a lot of things from him. I've been here for quite some time."
"It's nice to meet you miss." (Y/n) held out her hand to shake. The woman took it in her own and stared into (Y/n)'s eyes.
"You have such lovely eyes." she murmured. (Y/n) held back tears and a sob. Shoto's mother noticed and her expression changed.
"Did I overstep?" she asked gently. (Y/n) shook her head.
"No, it's just..." she gulped. "You remind me of my parents too. I guess I feel a little homesick."
(Y/n) was enveloped in a tight hug. She sniffled and hugged the woman back.
She had only met this woman for a few minutes, but it felt like years. She felt like this woman was as close to her as her own father and mother.
She was released from the hug and they sat down.
"So, tell me everything about you so far. Anything interesting happen at UA?"
"Well," (Y/n) smiled. "I have a few stories from the past few weeks..."

(Y/n) stepped out of the room, waving goodbye to Todoroki's mother. When she left, Rei turned to her son.
"She's a keeper."
"Hm?" Todoroki's head swiveled to stare blankly at his mother.
"You heard me." she smiled. "Those dates she went on sound nice."
"It's none of my concern." Shoto bluffed, picking at the dirt under his nails to avoid his mother's gaze.
"Shoto, I can tell you like her." his mother mused. "Take her on a date. If you really like her, treat her well."
"I don't know what to do though-"
"You'll think of something. Now go, my soon-to-be daughter-in-law is waiting."
Shoto left the room quickly, not wanting to be embarrassed anymore.
"Hey Shoto. What did she say?" (Y/n) asked from a chair outside the room.
"(Y/n), I wanted to ask you if you would go to dinner with me."
Straight to the point! (Y/n) thought.
