(Y/n) tossed and turned in the bed, drifting in and out of consciousness. Every time she fell asleep, it lead back to that terrible, terrible day.

Back in the office building, she was met with the harsh smell of gunpowder and the two men arguing once more.

"It's all your fault man! You were supposed to collect all the phones to make sure nobody called for help!" one gangster spat.

"Well you were supposed to not trigger any alarms, and look what you've done!" the other snapped.

There were five of them maybe, but (Y/n) was too distraught to tell.

She studied her surroundings more and found others cowering in the same area she was. Most seemed to be in shock, and some resorted to crying or rocking back and forth, hugging their knees to their chest.

The person beside her was still there, and (Y/n) fought the urge to throw up. Their glassy eyes stared back at her, and she whimpered.

She noticed it had gained more feminine features than the last time she saw it, but it still looked hauntingly back at her. Her eyes shifted colors, and (Y/n) leaned closer to try and see what color they were now.

Then, the corpse blinked.

(Y/n) recoiled in shock, and she grabbed her wrist.

"Come closer... you want to see my eyes, don't you? See them up close, they're much prettier up close."

The corpse pulled her closer, her gaunt features looming over her own. She cackled as (Y/n) tried to pull away.

"Who are you?" (Y/n) wailed. She tried to scream, but it caught in her throat.

"Isn't it obvious dear?"

(Y/n) studied the corpse's features once more and her eyes widened in horror. It grabbed her other wrist and pinned her down.

"(Y/n)! (Y/n), wake up!"

Her eyes snapped open and she thrashed around, trying to get rid of the sudden weight atop her.

"(Y/n), calm down, it's me!"

(Y/n)'s heart pounded in her chest as she recognized the crimson eyes of Katsuki. He had both of her wrists pinned on either side of her head and he straddled her waist.

"You were having a nightmare and you were throwing yourself everywhere, dumbass!"

(Y/n)'s breathing slowed and her head fell back on her pillow.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." she sobbed miserably. "That was one of my night terrors. I haven't had one in forever, and I thought it went away."

Katsuki slowly let go of her wrists and got off her, standing at the foot of the bed.

"I'm sorry you have to deal with me. God, I'm such a burden." tears welled up in her eyes again. She covered her face. The bed creaked as Katsuki sat down next to her.

He was silent for a moment, trying to gather some words of encouragement.

"You're... not a burden." he said firmly. "You went through that pain and trauma and shit and fucking survived. You keep beating yourself down about some shit you couldn't control, and it's getting fucking tiring hearing you say the same thing over and over!"

He poked a finger at her forehead. (Y/n) looked into his burning gaze.

"That shit doesn't make you a burden, that makes you fucking strong. So quit feeling sorry for yourself, dumbass."
