After the Sports Festival...

"I fucked up so bad!" Bakugo groaned, face-planting into the couch. He just got home and his mother had begun preparing dinner. His father was reading a newspaper at the dinner table.

"You do that a lot, you'll have to be more specific honey," his mother quipped.

"Shut it hag! And it wasn't even my fault!" he snapped, propping himself up into a sitting position. "This damn nurse freaked out when I woke up on the podium. If that damn half-n-half bastard used his full strength on me, I wouldn't have to challenge him again. The stupid nurse started crying an' and shaking and shit. I didn't even touch her. Now everyone is pissed at me for nothing-"

"Crying?" his father echoed, looking up from his newspaper. "Was she also hyperventilating? Did she seem to not respond to anyone trying to get her attention?"

"Yeah?" Bakugo answered, confused. "The fuck does that mean?"

His parents exchanged glances.

"Katsuki, you may have triggered an anxiety attack." Mitsuki explained. "When someone goes through something traumatic, it takes a long time for someone to get over the event. When the person feels panicked in a certain situation, it could bring back the stress and anxiety."

"Even a certain smell can trigger an attack." his father added.

"Aw, fuck..." he buried his face in his hands.

"I'm sure you didn't mean to Katsuki." his mother hummed. "Just apologize to her tomorrow, simple."

"What if she doesn't accept it?" he said aloud.

"Then show her you're making an effort to say sorry."

"How the fuck am I supposed to do that?"

His mother pondered this for a moment, her eyes gliding over to the pot of bubbling food.

"Ah! Invite her over for dinner! Besides, I wanna see what girl stole my Katsuki's heart!" she cooed.

"She did not steal my heart!" he snapped aggressively.

"Hmm, sure." his mother said mockingly.

The house was dead silent for a few minutes, aside from newspaper rustling and food boiling. Bakugo's father finally spoke up.

"So what's her name?"

"Shut up!"

Present Day...

(Y/n) skipped down the hall, her walk having a little more bounce in her step. She paused when she saw Tokoyami standing by her office.

"Hey Toko!" she greeted her feathery friend. "What's up?"

"I came to see if you were alright. I saw Bakugo drag you off and assumed the worst."

(Y/n) laughed, a bubbly, lovely chime.

"Ha ha ha! No, I'm fine. Thank you for worrying about me." she smiled. Dark Shadow popped out, greeting her with a trill of excitement.

"(Y/n)!"

"Hey Dark Shadow! Here, have an apple."

The creature snapped up the apple, its yellow eyes glowing brightly.

"Thanks (Y/n)!"

"(Y/n), I wanted to know..."

She met Tokoyami's gaze with a wondering stare. He bit his tongue and continued his sentence.
