The next couple months go by quickly and before they know it Jordan is back in the studio recording the songs he'd been working on. He had years of songs to choose from. He might have stopped recording and performing, but he never stopped writing. Every night when Jordan got home he spoke with so much enthusiasm about his progress during his day. This makes Vivian's heart fill with joy. It also inspires her to begin a new novel.
This time she decides to write something a little more, naughty. Her publisher keeps telling her that sex sales, and that right now sex is a hot commodity. She thinks with a little research into some "kinky sexcapades" and a lot of help from her irresistible husband she'll be able to give her publisher what she wants. It blows her mind that anyone read her first book, let alone that it made it onto the best sellers list. So when her publisher tells her she's received some "fan mail" Vivian's a little shocked.
"I'll send it to your house so you can read it yourself, if you'd like me to." Mary, her publisher says.
"Yeah Mary, that'd be great. I can't imagine who would be sending fan mail. But if I'm getting some I'd like to read it."
A few days later Vivian gets large envelope in the mail from her publisher. Vivian looks at the stack of letters, she didn't expect so many. She begins to open them and read them.
For the most part the letters are all really nice, from people who liked the book. There were a couple of letters that weren't as nice. But none were mean or hateful.
One letter in particular caught Vivian's eyes. It didn't speak as much about the book as it did about Vivian herself. The letter sounded like the writer thought the book was autobiographical. Yes, Vivian had based it on her and Jordan's journey, but it wasn't a non fiction novel. The letter spoke about Vivian's looks and her body, which made Vivian feel a little uncomfortable. She finished the letter and noticed it wasn't signed. There was also no name on the envelope. Vivian folded the letter and put it in the stack. She tried to write a quick thank you to the letters that had return addresses. It was really nice hearing from people who liked her book, especially when they came from people who weren't related to her.
Vivian picked the kids up from school and took them to the studio to see Jordan since he's working tonight. He wants to see them before Vivian drops them off. The kids are going to spend the night with Vivian's Dad and stepmom, Diane. They like to keep all the grands, as they call them, at least twice a month.
Jordan is in the booth when they show up. The kids go nuts when they see their dad. He tries to keep it together but starts laughing as Layla and Lexington make faces at him through the glass. This is why the twins don't get to visit their dad at work very often.
"Hey kiddos, how are my precious babies doing?" Jordan sweeps them up into his arms and pretends he can't lift them off the ground. Layla is the one to speak up, as usual, "Daddy, we're not babies anymore. We're big kids now. Just like Izzy."
"I know that baby girl, but you'll always be my babies. You've grown up so fast, too fast. It makes me a little sad sometimes. I miss you two being little babies, when I could hold you both at the same time. Now it's hard for me to even hug you both."
Then Layla says, "Why don't you and momma just have more babies like Aunt Angie and Uncle Donnie?"
Jordan's not sure how to answer her question. He looks at Vivian for guidance. "Honey, your daddy and I wanted you two so bad. We are so happy to have you both, you're our little miracle babies. But Mommy can't have any babies. So it's just you and Lex for us. You two are all we need." Jordan knows that was hard for his wife. He knows she's always felt like she was disappointing him by not being able to give him a big family. And no matter how many times he has tried to tell her she could never be a disappointment in his life, part of her just can't believe him.
They spend a little more time talking and laughing at Layla as she makes joke after joke. Lexington joins in with her and they have their parents laughing until they cry. When it's time for them to leave Jordan kisses and hugs both his kids before telling them, "You two be good and mind. Don't give your grandma and grandpa any trouble, you hear me?"
"Yes sir."
"I love you so much my precious babies."
"I love you too, Daddy." Lexington says before hugging him again.
"I love you so much Daddy." Layla says as she hugs him and kisses his cheek. This time she didn't tell him they aren't babies.
"You kids go use the bathroom before we leave, okay." Vivian then turns to her husband, "Don't work too late tonight, and don't wear yourself out. I've got plans for you tonight big boy!! Some very dirty plans." She runs the back of her hand across the crotch of his pants, she feels him begin to stiffen. She reaches up and licks his lips before placing a kiss on them. "I love you, J. I'll see you when you get home."
"Damn woman!! You're killing me. But I love it. And baby I love you so fucking much!!"
She turns to go when she hears the kids running down the hall. Jordan pulls her back into the room and sticks his head out the door, "Stop running!! Kids please sit on the couch. Your mom will be right out."
He wraps her in his arms and kisses her passionately. Sending heat up her thighs, that settles right between her legs. He rubs her mound with the back of his hand. She let's out a little whimper, it's been a while since they had been intimate. The feel of his touch does amazing things to her body. She looks forward to what she has planned for them tonight.
