Vivian and Jordan decide to have a family dinner the next night. Just them and the kids.

Lex and Layla have been spending their time with their grandparents since they got here. Jordan goes to pick them up while Vivian gets dinner ready at Jordan's house. Well, at their house Vivian supposes. That's the plan for now anyway, for Vivian and the kids to move back to Boston. Maybe.

Vivian isn't worried about telling Lexington the news because his plan had been to stay in Boston with his Dad after this trip anyway. Vivian is however worried about breaking the news to Layla. She loves California. She loves her friends, her school, her cheerleading squad and she especially loves her acting and dance classes. She has her heart set on becoming an actress. Which is something Orlando has been helping her with. Vivian fears Layla is going to be really upset about this move.

Vivian knows if Layla is upset, Jordan will be too. He hates to see his little girl sad or upset in any way. She's always been such a Daddy's girl and they've always had such a strong bond. And even though Vivian has always told him it's wrong, he's always favored Layla. So there is a chance they all might be moving back to California. It would definitely not surprise Vivian if Jordan made the decision for his daughter. Which Vivian wouldn't be opposed to either. She just wants her family back together and happy.

When Jordan and the kids arrive, Vivian hears Layla saying how good it smells and who cooked. "Momma, what are you doing here?" Layla squeals when she sees her mom in the kitchen finishing up dinner.

"Hey sweeties, your dad and I wanted to have a family dinner. I feel like I've barely seen you guys this whole trip."

They all sit around the dinner table and dig into the meal. Jordan speaks up first, "So your mom and I wanted to talk to you two about something."

Layla smiles, "About what Daddy?"

"Well, you kids both know how much I love your mom. She's always been the one for me. I never lost hope that we'd find our way back to each other. Well we've spent some time together this trip and we've decided we can't be a part any longer. So we are going to get back together."

Lex looks from his dad to his mom, "What about Orlando? Are you just going to leave him?"

Vivian shakes her head at her son, "No Lexington, he and I talked. He agrees we've grown apart as a couple. We're more like friends now. He wants me to be happy. And I want him to find someone who can bring him happiness too. He really wants kids of his own and I can't give him that. I don't want to keep him from having everything he wants and deserves. So we discussed getting divorced and we both think its for the best."

"Are you moving back to Boston?" Lex asked her.

Vivian looks at Jordan, "We haven't really talked about that. We wanted to see how you kids felt about it first."

Jordan reaches over and takes Vivian's hand, "Look kids, we want to be a family again, I know it's going to be an adjustment but we want to make it as easy as possible on you kids. Lex I know you wanted to move back to Boston, but was that because you wanted to leave LA? Or because you wanted to be in Boston? Or did you just want to be here with me?"

"I just wanted to be here with you Dad. I hated that you were here all alone. And we didn't get to see you very often, so really I just wanted to be with you."

"Okay. And Layla, how would you feel about moving to Boston?" Jordan asks his daughter.

Her smiles falls. "I don't want to leave California. I just got to start my acting class. And I'm co captain of the cheer squad. I don't want to move. Please don't make me move to Boston. I'm really happy you guys are getting back together, but I don't want to move."

Vivian speaks up next, because she thinks Jordan will make a decision for Layla's sake. "Okay, your dad and I have to talk about it. And we'll make the best decision we can for what makes the most sense. Okay? Are you two staying here with us tonight or did you want to go back to your grandparents?"

In unison they both say, "Back to grandpa's house."

Jordan says he'll take the kids back to Vic's. Vivian stays and starts cleaning up. She kisses and hugs the kids and they leave. She can't get her mind off how well the kids took their news. She knows they loved Orlando, but she was sure they always wanted their parents together. They hadn't even acted surprised by the news. She supposed that's because Layla saw them sleeping in Vivian's bed at her dads house.

Vivian wonders if Jordan's willing to move to California. She has always loved Boston, but she's grown to love Los Angeles over the years. Jordan must have at least liked LA at some point in time, he's owned a house out there forever. Vivian just wants them to be a family again. It doesn't really matter where they end up.

Vivian realizes she and Jordan haven't even discussed their plans for their own futures before rushing back into each others lives. Jordan has continued with his music career over the years. He's done two new albums and two tours during the years they were apart. He only did limited tour dates, so he was always available to get the kids. Nothing ever kept him from seeing the twins. He'd even taken Lex and Layla on tour with him for his two weeks one summer. They'd had a good time but Jordan decided that twelve was too young for tour buses and late nights, every night.

It dawns on Vivian she has no idea what Jordan has planned next or if he's working on any new music. They have a lot to talk about.

Vivian's just about done with the dishes when she hears the garage door open and close. She plans to start a conversation about their future when Jordan gets to the kitchen. But before she has a chance he sweeps her up in his arms and covers her mouth with his. He carries her up the stairs, kissing her the whole time.

He takes her to their bedroom and gently lays her down. He stares at her for the longest time. "You are so beautiful Vivian. I could stare at you forever."

"Oh God Jordan, I must look a mess. But thank you for saying I'm beautiful." Vivian blushes a little at the way he's staring at her. Until her eyes fix on his, and the look in them is hypnotic. She can't look away, can't take her eyes off of him. He is the beautiful one.

She's getting distracted by him and they really need to talk. What if they're plans don't mesh well together? What if the things they both want out of life conflict and won't work out if they're together?

As Jordan finally breaks their stare and his mouth crashes down onto hers, all topics of discussion disappear from Vivian's mind. All she can think about are Jordan's lips, and his tongue, and his hands and other parts of him.

Talks of the future will have to wait. Right now their only care and concern is what's right in front of them.

Each other.
