Vivian was surprised to see Jordan waiting for them at baggage claim. The kids ran to him as soon as they saw him. But Vivian, she stopped and just looked at him. Memories of another time he'd picked her up from this very airport rushed over her. She hid behind the same wall she had twenty eight years ago, just to watch him. But this time, instead of watching him as he looked for her, she watched him hug their fifteen year old children. Where had the time gone? When did they grow up? Vivian took a minute to compose herself and get her head back into the present. Revisiting the past was only asking for trouble.

Vivian stepped out from behind that wall only to find Jordan's eyes searching for her, and just that quickly she saw him as an eighteen year old Jordan. So young and so handsome. "Hey Viv, there you are. Where were you hiding?"

"I wasn't hiding Jordan, I dropped my purse and the kids didn't even notice I wasn't behind them. They've really been looking forward to seeing you."

His smile grows, "This reminds me of that time I picked you up from here when you came to visit for the summer. God, we were just babies back then. Only a few years older than the twins are now."

"Oh, yeah I'd almost forgotten about that. We better go find the kids and get our bags. My dad'll be waiting." Vivian has this nervous, but excited feeling inside of her when she looks at Jordan. She thinks she played it off pretty well, not letting him see that she's rattled.

Jordan looks disappointed, but turns to find the kids. They're waiting for the bags. Vivian hangs back and calls Orlando. He doesn't answer, so she leaves him a message letting him know that she's landed in Boston.

"How's Orlando doing these days?" Jordan asks, making her jump. He's standing so close she feels his breath on her neck.

"He's good. Working a lot. He's filming his second movie of the year. Did Layla tell you he took her on some auditions? Not for anything big, a couple of commercials and a tv show. He says she did really good, says she's a natural. Oh she had to sing for one of the commercials, he said she definitely got your singing talent." Jordan glances over at his daughter, a look of pure pride on his face.

"I didn't even know she could sing. Have you not heard her?"

"No, she won't sing for me. She was too embarrassed. Orlando tried to reassure her of how good she was. But she just got all shy. Maybe she'll sing for you."

"Maybe." Jordan sounds disappointed and a little sad. He misses being the only man in his kids lives. He hates that Orlando knows something he doesn't about his daughter. First the British prick steals my wife, now my daughter? Fuck Orlando Bloom. He thinks this but he doesn't really mean that last thought. He actually likes Orlando. As much as he can like his wife's new husband.

"I hear you've been seeing someone. Will I meet her this visit or will you keep her hidden away?"

Jordan laughed at her, "I'm not seeing anyone, who told you that? I would have told you myself if I was seeing someone."

"Lexington told me that. He said you had a girlfriend last time they visited you. So I just assumed you might still be seeing her."

"I had a couple of dates with someone, but I'm pretty much done with serious relationships. I don't see myself having a serious girlfriend again. I'm happy with the single life."

Vivian frowns at him, "Jordan, I hate to think of you being all alone. Surely you want someone to spend your life with."

"You're right. I do want someone. But its not going to happen. I'm okay with that Viv. Come on let's get your bags and get you home."

"Yeah, I'd hate for my Dad to kick your scrawny ass for taking too long." She giggled at him.

"I knew you remembered."

She stops walking before they get within earshot of the twins, "Jordan, of course I remember. Do you think I'd ever forget one detail of us? You know what I remember most about you picking me up that day?" She stepped close to him, almost placing her lips on his ear, "the parking garage" she whispered into his ear. He shivered. As the memory of her attacking him in the car when he was trying so hard to behave himself and take her straight home from the airport, like her scary ass father had instructed him to do. But he'd had to stop for those five minutes to kiss her. God they were so in love back then. He couldn't stop himself from smiling from ear to ear at her.

Vivian had their bags and waited for Jordan to bring the car around to pick her and the twins up at curbside pickup.

Jordan started asking Layla to sing for him on the ride back to Vic and Diane's house. She kept refusing. But Jordan was being pretty insistent. Vivian thought if he kept begging her she'd eventually give in. She always wanted to please her dad.

"Hey Dad, when can I talk to just you and Mom? I really need to ask you something." Lexington was so anxious about getting to move back to Boston, it kind of hurt Vivian's feelings, but she could completely understand why he wanted to.

Vivian answered him, "Lex we don't have to talk about that right now. Let's get settled in and visit with your grandparents. Jordan and I will sit down with you sometime this week, I promise son. Can't I just be happy with my family for a day before I have to make the hardest decision I've ever had to make?"

Now Lex sounded sad, "Okay. I'm sorry Momma, I'm not trying to make you sad, I swear I'm not. We don't have to talk about it right now." He put his hand on his mom's shoulder. He really did hate the thought that he was making her sad, he loved his mom so much. But he missed his dad and hated he was living all alone in what used to be their family home. He knew if he moved back to Boston his mom would still have LaLa and Orlando. But his dad didn't have anyone.

When they arrived at Vic and Diane's everyone was there waiting for them. It was such a great homecoming. Vivian hugged her sister tight, "I've missed you so much sis. How is Izzy old enough to be graduating already? It seems like only yesterday we were her age."

"I know right. We were just juniors when we were her age. You were just meeting Jordan and Donnie and I were just beginning to date. Thank God she didn't turn out to be as boy crazy as us...she buckled down and is graduating a year early. Where did mine and Donnie's daughter get those smarts of hers?"
