The next few months went by quickly. Jordan was spending most of his days in the studio. He was working hard with his production crew trying to get the perfect comeback album together.

He hates that his team keeps calling it a "comeback", he hadn't gone anywhere. He'd just taken a break to be a husband and a father. But he knows the album needs to be perfect. It has to be something special. He'd been hearing from his fans while he was on his break, they missed him. They looked forward to the day he came back to them.

To be honest, Jordan's scared. He's scared he'll let someone down. He'll either let his fans down by not giving them all of himself like he did before. Or he'll let his wife and kids down by giving too much of himself to his career and taking away from them. He's torn. Eventhough Vivian has made it perfectly clear she one hundred percent supports him. They agreed that when the time comes they'll discuss a tour schedule they can both live with. She and the kids can join him on tour whenever he wants them to. And he can take small breaks every few shows to come home. She tells him he's in complete control now. There's no one else to tell him what to do.

Jordan loves her so much, her support means everything to him. She holds his heart. She has since they were seventeen year old kids. He knows it's in good hands too. He knows she'll never hurt him. That's all he needs to know to be a happy, thankful man.

Vivian receives a package from Mary and her heart sinks. She hasn't gotten any of the strange letters in months. It's put Jordan's mind at ease, she isn't looking forward to the look of worry on his handsome face when he hears there are more.

When she opens the envelope, she realizes it's not letters, at least not the ones she's expecting. It's a letter from a director, he's interested in making her book into a movie. Vivian is in disbelief,  she reads the letter two more times. She just can't believe a big Hollywood director likes her book enough to want to make it into a movie. Her mind is officially blown.

She can't wait to talk to Jordan. She decides she really can't wait, so she heads over to the studio before she has to pick up the twins from school.

Vivian finds Jordan in his office at the studio. He looks stressed out. His hair is a mess, like he's been running his hands through it. He looks up when he feels her eyes on him. He straightens his posture and forces a smile onto his face. "Hey there handsome."

"Viv, is everything okay?"

"Yeah J, everything's fine. I got a letter from Mary today." His face turns worried. "Not that kind of letter. This is a letter from a movie director. He wants to make a movie out of my book. A real Hollywood movie. And he says I can be as involved in the production as I want to be."

"Honey that's great. How do you feel about this?"

"I'd like to take the meeting with him. He's not wanting a decision right away. He wants to meet with me and talk about his vision for the film. But I'd have to go to California. I was thinking we haven't been to the house in L.A in a while. Maybe we can all take a trip and meet with this guy. What do you think? Can you take a little time off and come with me?"

Jordan exhales. Vivian feels bad for stressing him out again. "I'm sorry J. I can see you're stressed. You don't need to come with me. I know you're really busy with the album. What's bothering you?"

"Nothing Viv. Let's just be happy for you today."

"No J. We're partners. What's going on? Is everything okay with you? You look really stressed. Babe talk to me."

"Well the label wants to do a lot more shows than we had originally planned. Without so many breaks. They aren't willing to budge on it. They said having three or four days on and three days off would be putting us on the road way too long. They want it to be more like six shows with one day off. And they say that Europe is a must."

"Okay, and? Jordan this is what you do, it's who you are. You're a musician, a performer."

"No, Vivian that's not who I am. I am a  husband and a father now. That's who I am. I'm a father to a tough little girl and a sweet little boy. And I'm husband to a beautiful, amazing wife. That's enough for me. I don't want to miss any of you three for even one day."

"We'll figure it out. I can hire a teacher for the kids and join you on the road. Tour the country as a family. Show LaLa and Lex the U.S and Europe. It'll be an adventure. A fun family adventure. And they'll get to see their dad in his element. We can figure this out. It's you and me J, we can figure anything out, together."

Once again she amazes him. She always knows how to make things better. She knows how to calm him. He stands up from behind his desk and closes the door. Vivian watches him as he locks the door. He moves over to his wife. He bends and kisses her gently on the lips. He grabs her by her arms and lifts her to her feet. He sits her on his desk. He pushes her legs apart and stands between them. He never takes his eyes off hers. "I love you woman. You make my life make sense. You've always made my life make sense. I'll love you forever. I'll never stop needing you. And I'll never stop wanting you."

He kisses her with such passion and love. She moans against his lips. He can't help himself, he begins undressing her. She in turn undresses him. His mouth is all over her body. Vivian's moaning and Jordan realizes they are in his office, quite a few other people are working today. He knows they can all hear her. His wife is a lot of things, but quiet is not one of them. "Hold that thought babe..." he says as he shuffles over to the stereo in his office. He turns it on and turns up the volume. Vivian blushes, finally understanding what he's doing. He kicks his pants off his ankles.

He's back in front of his wife, he reaches behind her and sweeps everything off his desk. "I've always wanted to do that." Vivian giggles at his gesture.

Jordan makes passionate love to Vivian. He pours all the love he has for her into their love making. He feels all the love she has for him too. He's overcome by emotions, too much emotion. As they reach their completion together, he breaks down and begins to cry as they lay wrapped in each other's arms.

Vivian holds him, but worries. In all the years they've been together she's only seen him like this a couple of times. But he never would talk about why or what caused the emotional breakdown. She had always chopped it up to his fear of her leaving again. But that doesn't explain what's going on now. They've never been better or more solid and in love.

"Jordan?"

"Yeah Viv."

"What's wrong my love?"

Jordan pushes himself up and moves off of her and the desk. He won't look at her. He quickly gets dressed. "Jordan talk to me."

He picks up her clothes and hands them to her. "Viv, you better get dressed, you're going to be late picking up the kids." He tells her, never looking at her.

"Babe, talk to me. Why are you upset? Why are you so emotional? Things couldn't be better for us right now. You've got a new album you're working on and planning a tour. I've got someone interested in making my book into a movie. What's upsetting you?"

"Fuck Vivian I'm fucking terrified. Are you happy now? Now you know. I'm fucking terrified, that if I were to decide not to do the tour you'll think it's your fault and leave me again." He finally turns and looks at her.

Her heart breaks. She had no idea he still worried about her leaving him again. It hurt her to think he still held this against her, but how could she get mad? She had left him, she had aborted his child. She had hidden from him and married another man. But she felt like she had paid for her sins against him. And that she had more than made it up to him over the past ten years they'd been together. She guessed he would never fully forgive her. That really hurt her.

Vivian was silent. She got dressed in silence. She straightened her hair and fixed her makeup in silence. She walk out the door in silence. She went down the hall and out of the building in silence. She got into her car in silence. Jordan followed her every step of the way, saying her name over and over. But she remained silent. She looked at him standing in front of her car as she started it and drove away. Once out of his sight, she had her own emotional breakdown. Is that really what he thinks I'll do again? Doesn't he know how much I love and need him?
