After Jordan finished talking to the kids Vivian got back on the phone with him. "So the show went good? I'm so happy to hear that."
"Yeah it was good." He sounded aggravated.
"Well you don't sound very happy about it." She stated with a laugh.
"The show was great, but I can't say it feels good to finally talk to you only to hear you went out with Lando today. I don't like you hanging out with him. I mean it doesn't look right. A married woman shouldn't be spending so much time alone with a man she isn't related to."
Vivian was now pissed right the fuck off. "Are you serious Jordan? So you're telling me that you don't want me to be alone with any man that's not you or a relative? Just my relatives or does that include yours as well?"
"Viv, you know good and well what I'm talking about."
"Does that include Donnie? After all he is the only man I was ever unfaithful with. But he's a relative now."
"Don't Vivian, you know what I mean."
"No Jordan i dont know what you mean. Because if you're okay with me hanging out alone with Donnie, then you shouldn't have a problem with anyone else. And I have to be around Orlando for my job. Where is all this coming from? You've never been like this before? Why are you so jealous all of a sudden?"
He was silent for a long pause, Vivian finally spoke up, "Alright Jordan I've got to go, I'm not going to sit here in silence or argue with you. Call me when you're yourself again. I love you J, goodbye." And she hung up the phone. It immediately began to ring, but she hit ignore and turned off her phone. Let him stew for a little while, it'll serve him right for pulling this bullshit. How could be really say that shit to me? What's he thinking?
When Vivian woke up and finally turned her phone back on she was surprised by the number of texts and voicemails she had. Not all were from Jordan, there were some from Angie and Donnie. Orlando had called her, Tim, her director, had called. But most were from Jordan. She didn't have time to listen to them right now, she needed to get the kids up and ready for school.
After dropping Lex and Layla off Vivian headed to the set. But no one was there. Vivian decided she might need to listen to her voicemails from Tim. She learns that filming in Boston had to be put on hold because of some safety threats. They are all heading back to California and they need her to fly out for a few days while they figure out what they can do to keep on their filming schedule.
Orlando's message just said he was heading back to California because someone had threatened to harm the cast and crew in Boston. He said he hoped he'd get to see her in California and he hoped she was doing better.
Angie and Donnie's messages were just asking her what was going on and why was she ignoring Jordan. And she needs to call him.
She finally got to Jordan's messages and yeah he was angry. He was cussing by his fifth message. And Jordan never cursed at Vivian. She was almost afraid to call him back. She didn't want to argue with him today, she didn't have time. So she put it off until she could get everything settled with the kids so she could head to California. Angie and Donnie agree to pick them up and then drop them off with Vic and Diane, who said they would watch them as long as Vivian needed them to.
Once that was all taken care of Vivian put off calling Jordan because she needed to get her flight booked and her bag packed. She picked up her phone to call him on her way to the airport, but driving and talking wasn't safe, so again she put it off. But once at the airport, checked in for her flight and sitting at her gate with half an hour to spare she's ran out of excuses.
She's trying to remember where he is today. Last night was Philly, so tonight he's in Pittsburgh. She dreads this call, she doesn't want to argue with Jordan. And she knows its going to be worse now that she waited so long to call him back. And to top it off she's headed to California. He won't like that either. She dials his number, silently praying he doesn't answer. Please don't answer, be at sound check, be sleeping, please...Fuck!! "What the hell Vivian I've been worried sick! Why did you wait so long to call me back?" Jordan sounded tired and really upset. Not exactly mad, but like he said, worried.
"I'm sorry J, I didn't mean to worry you. I just didn't want to fight with you last night so I turned off my phone and then when I got up I had to get the kids up and take them to school. Its been a hell of a morning. I've been going nonstop since I got up. I finally have a moment of peace to call you."
"What was so important that it kept you from calling me back?"
"Nothing is more important than you Jordan. You know that. But like I said I didn't want to fight with you. I definitely don't have time for that. I had to make last minute arrangements to go to LA today. I'm at the airport now. And so I'm calling you first chance I've had."
"Wait, what? You're going to LA today, like right now? Why? What happened to filming in Boston for a few months?"
"Well Tim called and said there were some threats made towards the cast and crew about filming in Boston. So until all the locations can be more secure they want to find locations in California that can replace places in Boston. And they need me there to help. They just want to make sure we're all safe J."
"I don't like this Viv. I have a bad feeling. Where are the kids?"
"They're at school. Donnie will pick them up and take them to my Dad's and Diane's. Dad said they'd keep them until I get back."
"Okay just be careful. I don't like this at all."
"You know I'm always careful. And it'll be fine. It's only for a few days. Then I'll be home and I'll bring the kids out to see you, okay?"
"Okay my love, I love you Viv."
"I love you too J. I gotta go, my flight is boarding. I'll call you when I get to the house."
