A/N:  Here is another chapter and I hope you enjoy it.

This chapter is short, but I hope you don't mind.

Tae POV

I can't control my smile as I look at Detrick, who is engulfed in a huge hug by his family. I know how nervous he was, and I could see all his fears in his eyes, but this is a perfect ending to this problem. Well, it isn't technically an ending yet. They still have to tell the rest of their family, but I'm happy that Detrick has finally got what he has been longing for which is a complete family.

He didn't have to tell me, because I could hear it in his voice when he would talk about his childhood and how he grew up. He has longed to have a complete family. However, he now knows why his fake mother kept him in the dark and made sure that he never made too many friends. It was all needed to keep people from finding out about Detrick. We will never know if his fake mother really knew that the police never did look for him, because she never told Detrick anything. However, I'm sure that it was her guilty conscious that kept her running and hiding. All it would have taken was one person who saw Detrick and who knew Tee to make the connection.

For the rest of the evening, I sit back, and I let the family get to know Detrick. His parents avoid the topic of Detrick's mother. However, as the night continues on, Tee can't seem to leave it alone. He finally confesses all that he knows about Detrick's fake mother. He even refers to her as fake mother.

I don't want to interfere, but I can't help to notice their parents cringe when Tee explains everything to them. At the end of the story, Tee also lets them know that she has passed away and that is the only reason that Tee and Detrick managed to run into each other.

Just like Tee, their parents are grateful that Detrick's fake mother is gone. However, Tee's father, Porsche, suddenly announces, "We need to go to the police station, right now."

Detrick shakes his head. "No. My mother is already gone. Why do we have to go to the police?"

I don't understand either. What good is there in going now?

A sad smile spreads across Porsche's face as he looks at Detrick. "Son. You were declared dead. We buried you and we want to put you back on our family registry, but I can't do that without going through the right channels. However, I don't know what those channels are, so I think we need to start with the police. They will hopefully direct us in the right direction. Then we can officially become your legal parents again."

Now, I understand what Porsche is trying to do. I glance over to Detrick to see how he is taking it.

Detrick nervously looks towards his father and then his mother before looking at Tee, who smiles and nods his head. Yes. This is the right thing to do to get everything back to where it was when they were babies.

Most of the night, I have refrained from saying much, but this time, I can see that Detrick is still hesitant. I pat his shoulder and nod my head. "This is the only way to get you back alive and to get you officially back as their other son. This has to be done."

Tentatively, Detrick nods his head and before he can change his mind, we rush out of the house and to the car. Within no time, we are at the police station.

I'm surprised when we enter that a lot of the police staff knows Tee and his family already. Before we even ask for assistance, the head of the police station walks out and greets us. "Porsche, is your son back to tell us that his twin brother isn't actually dead? I thought we have resolved that years ago."
