5 | Enter Klaus

Lexi sits atop her motorcycle with a deadly expression plastered on her face. Her phone lies in her hand, Elijah's name blinking as it rings; she gets no answer. As she turns it off, the metal groans beneath her strength. "I'll kill you all," she mutters to herself as she stares into the Salvatore house at the group of teens surrounding the large dining room table.

The whole Beacon Hills pack watches as she swings her leg off of the bike, planting herself in front of the large window. She bends down, grabbing a handful of dirt before she flings it at the glass.

When it cracks under the rubble and force of her throw, the teens finch away from the window. The Salvatore brothers grab Elena, forcing her under the table before Damon finds Lexi. "Oh, come on!" He shouts. "Can't you leave us alone?"

"Be glad I didn't shatter your window and opted for a material that wouldn't destroy your house." Lexi rolls her eyes as she walks to the front door and knocks. No one answers. "Don't ignore me!" She sings, nothing able to cover her fury. "If you do not open the door in five seconds, I will come in there myself, children."

Still, nothing.

"Five!"

She hears whispers.

"Four!"

More whispers.

"Three!"

Footsteps.

"Two—"

"Seriously?" Damon exclaims as he opens the door. Lexi sends him a wide grin as he raises his eyebrows. "You got our attention."

"Where is Elena?" Lexi asks. "I would like to ask her a question."

The girl steps into view despite Stefan trying to conceal her. "I'm right here," she says, crossing her arms. "What do you want, Lexi?"

"First of all, I saved both of your boyfriends' asses," Lexi leans against the threshold, running her hand down the wood. "I deserve a bloody thank you after betraying my friends for you, not to mention betraying Klaus. You have no idea what kind of punishment he will have waiting for Elijah and me if he ever finds out what you are up to. Forever is a long time."

"Ok, thank you, Lexi. Now, goodbye." Before Damon can slam the door in her face, Lexi sticks her hand out.

"Second, where is my brother?" She stares at Elena, watching her brown eyes crumble. "You see, I've been calling him for days now. Last I heard, he was going to visit the doppelgänger and hand her over to Klaus. It seems he's failed; my brother does not fail."

"We don't know where Elijah is," Stefan replies, stepping in front of Elena.

Lexi purses her lips as a sweet smile spreads over her lips. "I would not advise you to lie, Stefan," she says. "If I find out that my brother has been hurt in any way—I don't care that we aren't on the best of terms right now—I will still kill you. You and your wolf-killing brother are only alive because of Elijah's deal. If that deal is forfeit..." Lexi runs her tongue over her lips as she glances down Damon's body. "Let's just say, I'll feast better than I have in centuries."

Damon rolls his eyes, but she can see the fear in them.

"Damn, Lexi's badass," Lydia says. "She's awesome."

"But we knew that," Malia replies.

"She's threatening to kill them," Kira says. "That's just scary."

Stiles scoffs as he shakes his head. "Almost as badass as Elijah chopping Trevor's head off."

Derek flips his hand up, slapping the back of Stiles' head. "Shut up," he says, ignoring Malia's growl and Scott's step towards the human. Peter only chuckles.
